I've been so torn on the LOTR animated pieces. I have a garage kit which is without a doubt my most prized possession in my collectibles inventory. Although it's from the Hobbit animated movie of yore, I've been torn as to how the LOTR animated pieces would display with my statue. Here's the piece I'm talking about (the Goblin King):

at that price, why not, I ordered one. I don't have to much GG stuff, but my animated leia is a nice change in the display cabinet, so one LOTR won't hurt to much.

The Hobbit 'toon was my first exposure to Tolkien

I remember seeing the ad for the special in the TV guide when I was a kid. You bet your ass I made sure to catch it when it aired. No Tivo back in the 70's..

Still love the 'toon, but can't handle the music

Man, I know they've been trying to sell these with various sales for the past few months, but this is practically giving them away. I have the regular edition, which is quite nice. I actually think I prefer the regular with the brown horse, but I'm tempted to get this too. But shipping for me is $17.30, which kind of puts a damper on my enthusiasm.

Yes, it is definitely worth getting *especially* at that price!
And I politely disagree with icruise as I much prefer the exclusive edition.
