I can't say for the TDK Line.. but I've submerged their Predators in hot water before (the P2 hands/Bio and Wolf's Bio, Loin cloth, etc.) and NONE of the paint came off, ran, or cracked. Plus you don't need to heat up the water that much. Put a small amount in a bowl, heat it in the microwave for 15 seconds, dip whatever part you need into it and that should soften it up enough.

I have used hot water straight from the tap to good effect with other heads. All it does is make the head a bit more malleable for the few minutes you need to remove the head. It works great with the hands as well.

Unfortunately, it would seem no. I found out what gun months ago and do periodic eBay checks. There's like half a dozen 1/6 shotguns regularly available out there, a couple are sorta close, close enough in a pinch, but nothing really the same.

Wel I finally got the work done on my Lockup Joker version. It is the Bank Robber head with real doll hair painted for that extra greasey effect

Mine came on Tuesday. Love the figure, but a warning: the hair on both my heads came BROWN. Did anyone else have this happen?

Unfortunately I was unable to take/post pics (home PC is wrecked), and I was considering contacting BBTS to receive a replacement, but a little acrylic ceramics paint went a long way and only took about five minutes. I just dry brushed it on (light or not at all around the roots and the back of the head for that 'spray-on' color look), wiped off the excess with a paper towel, and now you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between mine and a correct production sample.

So yeah, anyone else's BR Joker get skipped at the dry-brush station?

Brown... no. Mine is the same as Snake Suckers. Saying that I never got it from BBTS. Even still they still get it from the same source as everyone else.

Looks like I'm gonna have to cancel my BR Joker . The money order I sent got stolen or lost in the mail and it's gonna take 10 to 60 days to get reimbursed You can't belive how unfathomably pissed I am right now.

Hello everybody, this is my first post but I have been reading the board for a while now.
Also, sorry for my bad english!

I just purchased a bank robber Joker, and I was thinking of buying a DC Direct Joker to have the original costume. But I read that dc direct are taller than Hot Toys. Do you think the dc suit would fit well in a TrueType body? I can't afford another Hot Toys figure and that's because I am going for the DC direct. So what do you think guys?

It would prob need some alteration to fit the Truetype well. As you mentioned, the DCD is taller.

So, from what I'm reading the clothing problems/complaints are directed towards the V1 Joker and Two Face outfits...but the Bank Robber clothing is ok?

BR is pretty much spot on for me. Only issue is the colour of the buttons.

Kind of surprised this idea didn't come to me sooner, but I put DCD's tie on the HT Joker and I'm pleased with how it turned out. Definitely better than HT's attempt.
