i cancelled mine, yes i shouldn't of ordered it imo.

like i posted earlier, with 3 more movies coming out, i'm sure ss will have more movie related statues coming in the future. and hopefully a modern pf. if not oh well, i'm not going to embarrass hulk, cap and thor by forcing them to stand along side classic im.

edit: oh yeah nice pics, i really like the city back drop. looks like he just rid the city of the criminal element.

to be honest after seeing these two pics in the "Civil War - Initiative" I started to feel so happy for ordering the CIM Ex.. If they can catch the right size then the classic iron man com. won't be a bad choice after all... It would be cool to have a display early Avengers...

yes mate but the 2'nd one is not mine.. it belongs to my cousin.. we opened them boxes together so we decided to have some pics while they r together.. sorry for the confusion though...

OK I just received my notice for the Regular. $400 total. With today's currency that's £300 (that's £100 more than what I would have paid 3-4 months ago... yes I'm p!ssed off!)

But at the same time I got one ordered from Forbidden Planet UK, which was for £200.
Has anybody in the UK received theirs from FP?
I don't know if I should cancel the one coming from SS and wait for FP coz FP might not have enough in stock to fulfil all orders.

Any help would be really appreciated!

Looking good. And nice Bowen Faux Bronze as a compliment. Glad to see you got a mint replacement. It seems like replacements for Sideshow's Marvel PFs are flying out of the factory MUCH quicker than a lot of us would expect. I'm mean there's not a lot of room for delay when claiming for a replacement nowadays for fear they will be gone. I didn't foresee ANY issues with Red Skull and look how quick those were claimed. Then, Thor followed a similar trend. I'll be interested to see how Mystique fairs in all of this.

Is it just me or is Thor losing some steam lately? Granted, I know this last one didn't have the box, but I noticed the ending prices on Ebay have dropped quite a bit. Any opinions? (Maybe because the initial "rush" is over.) I think someone mentioned this earlier, but I can't find the post.

yeah, i haven't been in this long enough to see patterns, but i think people have said that after the hype of the first release they tend to drop off slightly, then they tend to start to slowly appreciate.
you just wait when the movies (thor and avengers) come out this one will spike.

i would of been interested in this one, but he wouldn't even respond to my request to ship to canada.
i guess he was serious about no international shipping, and don't bother to ask

The only possible downside I see to this statue, having three of them myself, is its size, both the statue and the box. The only other boxes I have that come close are for my Hulk PFs. Even the Cap box is easy to handle compared to Thor's. Thor can be difficult display because of the dimensions, the boxes eat up a ton of room, and shipping for each one of them, for me, was easily over 100.00 apiece. Except for those issues, I think it is an incredible statue, as worthy of praise as any PF Sideshow has put out to date.

I only own one and I'm complaining about the size of the box. And don't even get me started about the Thing PF box.
