I think this looks pretty cool.

This just may be my first Dead piece.

Not sure if I want this or not. I liked how the Dead were a separate smaller-scale addition to the collection, like a small but growing zombie army. Perfect size to display in a cabinet along with some horror DVDs.

But do I need a PF of this? Space is limited, and so is money. Do I dedicate a significant portion of display space to an undoubtedly cool but unknown figure, or do I use that space to represent a movie/ comic hero?

I hope this is a Q4 2009 release. Then it's still possible in the mean time to win the lottery and buy myself a castle so I can display everything I want.

Will be my 1st Dead piece. I've always admired the Dead line, but I don't collect the 12 inch pieces. Girlfriend will be very unhappy with this statue. Hope we don't have to wait til Oct. 09 to have it in hand.

Not sure they would put a hoax in their official calendar....I would easily predict this will be announced and ordered within the next couple of weeks.

Believe me If PZ PF sells well they'll make more than 1 PF Zombie a year....That license cost nothing to them...

They should make only 300 of PF PZ as an ode to the 12''.

I agree unfortunately because of the popularity of THE DEAD, they'll be plenty more. They should include an exclusive that has a change o hand for the one furthest from the "audience" that has a bloody body part or something like that as if he just finished a meal and was moving on. Then make that exclusive 300.

They are synchonized killing and dancing all in one! Its a companion piece!

looks awesome. Can't invest in another line but these will probably be bad ass and go up in value fast.

I think that will depend on pricing. Economy is tough right now and you'll see people who like the piece but can't afford it skipping it. If its priced reasonably you'll see it sell out because A: Its PZ and B: Its an affordable 1/4 statue. Then in a while when things pick back up you'll see people with funny money again able to hunt it. If its priced too high too many people will pass and it'll rot the shelves. Look at the PredAlien. Beautiful piece...priced waaay too high to justify even back then not to mention now. So it sits.

That's the key factor right now. If it is priced affordably (under $200), it will do well. But, if it still has a $250+ price tag (which is what I fear), it will be on second chance for quite a while, unless the ES is very, very low.

Than it would be fantastic if it could ship at the same time as the berserker...as The Mike says (I would quote him but he seems to be on a multi-quote frenzy!!!) it would make a great companion piece!!

I like the Ex idea. The original has an arm with him. And if they do the magnet thing, there'll be no issue of keeping it in place since it's hanging down. My only concern though would be the glue on the magnet loosening over time and it falling off and breaking.

The pose still gets to me though. It's a weird "thrillerish" choice for a zombie. It's like PZ is saying, "Girlfrien' oh no you didn'!"

If this turns out to be a reality and a new line for me to collect, it would be nice if they were $179.99, or thereabouts. With the exclusives $20 more. Then I would be all over this line like a fat kid on cake!
