Hot Toys HBII Hellboy and Abe Sapien 12-inch Figures

I was debating on getting the samaritan prop but then I saw these and I think they'd be better to have than the prop.

I still don't think it will be that much, though. I am reconciling it against HT's Iron Man figures, which are no more than $160 each.

I have to agree. I checked at blister.jp and I found that Machiko and the Mark 3 retailed for 22,000 yen ($248) and the Mark 1 for 26,000 yen ($270). I would imagine that these would go for $150-$170 from Sideshow.

then the $240 really only comes out to $120 a figure which would be a great price per each. although i would probably only want hellboy from the set and $240 would be to high for me.

Might as well preorder though--that's one of the great things with Sideshow, you have full access to your account and can cancel anything at any time without penalty (unless it's one of the really expensive things which have cancellation fees)

That way if you end up with enough money then you'll have it already preordered

I'll get Hellboy and Abe, but it's the likely WATCHMEN line from Hot Toys that is going to kill me wallet-wise.

Regardless of price I will make the cash to get these two.

If that's the case, then there's probably no need to get upset about price. It's just that the Japanese prices are inflated compared to the US ones. Still, I would be surprised if they came in under $175 apiece.

Why don't you get yourself a new card? One that is accepted, like a Visa debit card, instead of jawing about it each time. I can't get with the times as you put it since I have a visa debit and they still wont accept it. Sideshow are on my cards fraud list for some reason , I have told sideshow and they don't seem to care. I can't change card holders since I use my dads card for all this stuff ( with my money before you start on that one ) and he wont change it just for this.

I can also post as much as I like. Is it bothering you that much ?.

Do you have your own card or is it your fathers? It's not Sideshows problem. It's yours. Only you can fix it. If it's your fathers card, get yourself a card of your own. If the card is yours, then ditch it and get one that works. Call Visa and ask them to explain and ask them for a solution.

The 'get with the times' comment was in relation to accessibility of Hot Toys items, so think before you stink. You aren't doing too bad in the rude department yourself, hypocrite. Don't assume to know my personal situation or dictate your value system to me, please.
