I ran out of black thread so the blue one was the darkest Ive got now with flash it looks a bit odd I suggest you to paint that black :p Sorry about that. Im getting more material to make more if people want and working out a new way to hide those thread. :lol

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

you know , funnily enough hadn't even noticed that until now. :lol
Its not as blue to the eye. It doesn't bother me. :)
If I paint it it will probably somehow set on fire. :lol

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Thanks man !. I a using hot toys joker gloves painted black as hands. :lol There not 100% accuare as gloves I know but painted black you can barely see the details which are subtle anyway. I picked these because they fit the body perfect and hold the grenade launcher great.
Also thanks to tigerfeet who just sent me a pm about a mini gun.
Think I'm gonna make another one of these guys. There too awesome not too.
If I can I will order xenovipers headsculpt for this one. I still really want to order one of his Kyle Reese heads too.
Oh forgot to mention I still need to change the boots too !.

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

how did he get the endoskeleton leg? Is it from a model kit or a hot toys t-800?

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Still in a sad holding pattern waiting for my Terminator head to be painted... Still have Terminator displayed with the Stallone head :lol

and I would guess the Endoskeleton leg is either from the HT or possible Aoshima... although that would be an expensive kitbash.

Why has no good 12" company *ATTENTION HOT TOYS* done this? I don't get it - its such an obvious figure. Most of us don't have the patience (acquiring parts piece by piece, sending parts away to be painted etc) or skills to customise these things.

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

yep , not only would it supply everyone with a kick ass figure who can't or doesn't want to attempt to customize one but it would also supply us with alot of parts.

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

It would be nice to see HT's revisit the Terminator line but with them having issues with Dutch from Predator we can still forget it.

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

is the issue for not having a properly licensed Arnold sculpt basically the same issue Mcfarlane was having with there 6 inch T-2 line?

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

I just watched that scene again at the bar and it does in fact look like a colt 45

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

what type of pistol did arnie have in T2 ? Anyone know ?

Colt/detonics 1911

The T-800 can be seen using a Colt/detonics hybrid with Pachmayr grips, a variation of the M1911A1, taken from the cigar smoking biker at the start of the movie. He then uses it to wound a security guard at the psychiatric hospital, holds a Security Guard at gunpoint at the Cyberdyne systems building and at the steel mill to shatter the frozen T-1000.

wikipedia is your friend..........:lecture
