Uh oh :lol. I have to just start making room for the impulsive choices I made in ordering that gigantic Burning Godzilla statue and the Omega Beast Shin Godzilla family. There is zero room for them at the moment. So sadly, I’ll have to start getting rid of figures like Megalon, Final Wars Gigan and Godzilla, Battra, etc. I’m going to end up selling most of my 25 cm and 30 cm collection to make room for gigantics. Only the Sakais are safe!
that is a wise decision.
Sakai is one of the masters in Gojira modelling, so I won't get rid of any Sakais either!
I'm lucky I only limit my collection to Shin (and the Eva crossovers), and even then those gigantic ass Shins took a lot of space.

Being the self-torturing person I am, I've recently started collecting 1:1 and 1/3 scale statues. I have one more 1:1 scale statue incoming and two 1/3 scale statues releasing later this year. When they arrive, I'd rather fight the Undertaker than face my wife

Anyways, I failed to win the lottery on the Kamakura version of Spiral Studio's Shin Gojira.
Loving their sculpt, really want to hunt one!

We’ll see how it pays off for me. I might just start picking up Sakais exclusively after I have my giant flash sale.

WOW! Now that is one step closer to just basically living in a museum :lol . Honestly, that is the dream though! I will also be praying for your safety lol.

Ah that is a pretty cool sculpt. Have you seen the Shin Marmit sofubis? I’m always tempted with them.

Please keep us posted about those 30cm Minus One Godzillas, guys. Also, is there a recommended place to buy X-Plus stuff? I understand these fly off the shelves?

Here's an unposted pic, by the way.

Here’s a link to the US Shonen Ric store: https://us.ric-toy.com/
They also have stores for Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea, you just have to click the three horizontal lines at the top left corner to switch.

If you want standard X-Plus figures, stores like amiami, hobbygenki, AnimeExport, hlj and hobby search are all really good for importing.

I usually got the preorder offer from my local sellers, however, I think BBTS also has XPlus on their store..

I wish you luck with the sale, my friend!

Yeah, I only buy the characters that I really into for obvious reasons.
Couldn't resist!
Thanks for the kind prayer. I need that especially this year. Not gonna add more of those scales! XD

Yes, I really love it.
Somehow I can't open the links.. but I think I know which one it is!
The spiral one I like, because it's not too deformed.. it's like the right balance of sofubi sculpt and the realistic sculpt..

Thank you! I’ll have to give people the “without original box” discount, but such is life.

Well maybe you can hide behind your human sized army of collectibles that you’re building :lol

Ahh really?! It looks like this:

Aye my friend.. such is life.
But you know, as long as the figure is in great condition, I believe it's all good.
Also I think pretty common in the kaiju collectibles, not to have the box..

Hahah, not so much of an army, and they're only busts.. can't cover me ducking behind em! XD
I only have 1 full body lifesize statue, and that won't be enough to save me from the missus' wrath!

Ah! the marmit looks cool!
It has the vintage sofubi feeling.. sculpt wise, I still prefer the Spiral Studio one though..
But so far there's no Kamakura version of it on sale anywhere. :(

People always tell me there’s a 15% not box tax! lol. They’re always packed safely. My gf used to work at a collectibles store, so I just give her all the bubble wrap and packing pillows, and let the master go to work.

When you first told me about your new 1:1 scale collection, I pictured you hiding behind a wall of collectibles similar to the Chinese Terra Cotta soldiers :lol

Yeah! They genuinely look nice in hand too. I’ve seen many photos and videos of people with them. Spiral definitely has amazing sculpts on their sofubis. Did Masami Yamada sculpt the Shin as well? I know that they use the master painter from Marmit as well.

Oh there's such thing as no box tax? XD
On that department, we are the same! my wife also handle all the packing thingy. Especially when I ship original pages.. she knows the drill!

LOL, if I have that many lifesize statues, Imma need a literal cave! Also earthquake happens quite often in my country so the domino effect will be devastating!

Spiral Shin is sculpted by Vlad Konstantinov. Not a usual Japanese or Asian artist for Gojira, I know..
But the artist did a great job, as he is specialized in sculpting dinosaurs and lizards alike!

Oh boy, well I’m pretty sure that you will need a little more than a dab of museum putty to keep those statues in place :lol .

Wow! That’s pretty surprising. I’m not familiar with his work, but he did an amazing job with that Shin sculpt. I’ll have to look him up.
