Decided to see how he looks without the briefs, what do you guys think …
I did the same with my Wolverine always thought the brief is silly.

Yeah, this and the other pics you posted earlier convinced me to see how mine would look like without the briefs.

The upside for you is that since you did a body swap and removed the undergarment that came with the SSC Wolverine you don’t have the visible hip joints and fabric lines that mine has. But overall I still prefer how mine looks without the briefs.

I have to say I think this figure has been under appreciated a bit on this forum. I know this figure has some issues, but it is really nice in hand …still very glad I bought one 😁

Ok, looking for some advice here.

I now have two versions of Wolverine from Sideshow. I like different things about both versions, but I have a strict self-imposed one figure per character rule, so I am going to keep one and sell one.

Which would you guys keep if you could only have one in your display …

So many companies do the tiger stripe. I personally went with the Astonishing.

Agree with everyone to keep the Astonishing version with other tiger stripe versions available. I wish I would have went that direction when I got mine.

I used to have that one figure per character rule as well. I threw that rule to the wind last year 😂
Yea, I bought multiples of characters last year as well. However, now I'm trying to get rid of them all :slap

Thanks for the suggestions @Gipetto0812 @Venzhe @Master @Earth 616 Collector @Rexus

I was leaning towards the Astonishing version and you guys tipped the scales for me!

I was considering keeping the Tiger Stripe version to have extra arms, but I think I will let him go on eBay. There are already several of them on there but I will just let mine go for cheap (since I got him for a great price) or I may just give him to a friend who loves Wolverine.

Oh, you know that Hot Toys one is going to be Miles better with the body paint applications, etc. I’m definitely budgeting for the Deadpool and Wolverine movie lol

Yeah without a doubt the Hot Toys Wolverine that comes the next Deadpool movie will be superior when it comes to the body, paint apps etc. but, I am not waiting on that version bk I don’t love the costume.

So I will pass on that even though I know it will be a higher quality figure. That said, I really like the Sideshow Wolverine figures, they are both better than I expected.
