Wow! That’s fortunate.

I’ve never not used stands especially after we started getting quakes in the area but I have had figure’s ankles become loose over time or straight up break. Tobey Spidey, Bats Begins, anything SS clone to name a few.
Plus I’m sure I couldn’t successfully get many of the poses mine are in without some sort of stabilizer.
Yea, I've had ankle sockets that are attached to the body just break on me randomly and quite a few occasions, usually around that U shape at the back of the ankle. I checked over my Winter Soldier figure just last week and his left boot just came right off with the ankle socket shattered.
A lot of my DAM Toys figures have had their ankles become very loose in a short amount of time.

Also disappointing to hear the jail won't fit in a detolf -- I thought it was decided that it would? I guess no one added the base height as well.

Probably fit in the lower most section as that's higher... but not the best place for viewing.

I think inart really copped out on this magnetic base.. two tiny magnets in a very specific position.. Come on Inart 🤦🏻 its hardly a magnetic base. Its more accurately a base with magnets 🥵
So a traditional stand actually offers more freedom in this case?

Tremendous work from the saviors of 1/6.

Really? I thought it would too. Didn't we see previous pics of the jail in a detolf before? 🤔 I had no plans on displaying it, but I still thought it fit.

We did but you would need to raise the shelf above it by like half an inch. Or just move the shelf the jail cell is in down a bit.

It’s not a cycle if I was never at “best sixth scale figure ever” and we’re past the “it’s just bad pics” stage. Every picture of this thing has shown the head to be the biggest 1:6 head of any figure it’s photographed with and people with it in hand are saying the same thing.

I hope I’m wrong when I get it but it’s feeling less and less likely.

Its a bit big but I wouldn't go as far as calling it a bobblehead.

I think the sculpted does some things better than the rooted and vice versa. But at this point I'm not impressed by this thing anymore. When i get it in hand that'll change but for now I'm neutral on it.
Interesting. In what ways do you think?

Just got this and I think the sculpt is good but it’s nothing ground breaking, I think it looks a lot better in photos than it does in person

This is literally how I feel a lot of time when I receive custom sculpts back from painting. :ROFLMAO: Not saying they're not great, but this is almost always the initial feeling for whatever reason

Eh it's not disappointing, not anymore. Not when I consider the fact that the photos I see are usually shot carefully with great lighting vs. when I see them in hand it's my short-sighted eyes, but when you really look into them the details are all there. Just things that you cannot see with a naked eye I guess

This actually happened to mine a few days after it arrived and it took about a 6 foot fall onto carpet. I was so scared when I discovered it but fortunately it had no damage. Its not so much the ankles giving out, as you can see the ankles aren't even bent in the photo, its the curve of the front of the shoes. Magnets definitely aren't in the best place and while it will hold it in place if its completely flat on the heel, if the body is tilted forward at all it will fall forward

Was there some big discussion about the eyes I missed? This thread goes too fast and covers the same thing too many times to be up to date on it all.

I still love this figure, but I'm not impresses by it since I've seen every angle and I'm starting to think the sculpted looks better than the rooted and i just splurged on the rooted. Idk whats going on with me lol I'm sure this is temporary and I'll love the rooted when i get it

This landed in hand today and leagues ahead of DX11... I opted for the non-rooted single figure. To me the proportions looks better than DX11 which is going on sale here pretty soon on ebay...
