How is it bombing? It’s been out for a matter of hours and is expected to have a 75 mill US opening?

I actually do collect Cosbaby’s on the side. Primarily because I’m more likely to get the Cosbaby versions a year or more prior to receiving the 1/6 version.
Or if I’m not interested enough in the character to order the 1/6, I‘ll get the Cosbaby’s instead. Like the What If pieces, or even these Enternal ones which I just ordered the four of them.
I’ve got dozens of them and they’re dirt cheap anyway. I usually use my retailers voucher codes so I usually end up only paying shipping and that’s it (about $6-7 USD).
But when you get right down to it, even these 1/6 Hot Toy’s aren’t my primary aim nowadays as I’m more into Queen Studio 1/4 and 1/2 scale statues and their life size busts.

Well the 1/4 scale TDK Batman reissue will come with bonus stuff. It's probably random discarded Thena parts. Honestly I don't know why they don't always do that. I think a BAF could work in theory for certain characters. For example, they could have done that with an Ultron drone. Included a head with one figure, an arm with another, etc. That would incentivize people to collect all of the new Avengers figures. But for added value, including wires or other plug-ins to make the pieces work as diorama pieces if you don’t collect all the figures to complete the BAF. An Ultron leg with wires sticking out still works for any single Avenger figure purchased. The ability is to do that is limited though as you couldn’t have a build a General Ross figure nearly as easily or cleanly.
It could but Hot Toys production at this point is quite delayed. You'd be waiting 2 years or more to complete that BAF especially if the product gets stuck in production hell like GOTG2 Gamora or whatever DC 1/6 that was previously announced.

IMO the usual critic trash. It's probably fine, tho not the best that Marvel has ever done, maybe. And there are plenty of people who aren't gonna go to a theater yet anyway, besides knowing if they wait long enough they can just watch on D+.

Thena and Ikaris are the only worthy characters from this film to make. Even then the movie has so many characters that it really waters down the main ones. The wait and see approach is the best way for Howard to go about this movie. But how everything plays out, it might just make sense to make a Thena.

I enjoyed the film, its pretty dense but had to accomplish a lot with so many new characters but they were all pretty well fleshed out. Certain spectacular visuals bode really well for any future movies with celestials too, and probably the best "speedster" sequences in a superhero film so far. Save for a few lines, exists totally outside of the proceeding MCU, including the teases at the end. It'd be interesting to see the designs on any figures, they aren't in their formal Eternals suits that much in the film
After seeing this flick Ikaris is the only one worth making. Thena contributed so little to the film along with most of them. Don't get me wrong they were all cool and I liked them fine enough, but Ikaris is the only one I'd chuck 280 dollars at lol.
