Watched the entire film last night Holy **** that was freakin epic- 4 hours of pure superhero bliss. My 11 year old son made it all 4 hours, eyes glued to the set which is probably the best compliment i can give it. The last 3 hour + movie i watched with him (lotr two towers directors cut) we had to split it over 2 nights because it was just too long for him. When the credits finally rolled, he actually wanted more he was asking about post credit scenes at 12 am lol. I cannot wait for the 4k disk to drop so i can actually see it in dolby vision and hear the atmos track. We are already planning a snyder marathon day (at my sons?s request) - mos-unrated bvs-zs justice league straight thru all in one day. What is that like 9-12 hours lol

:rock :clap :rock

I enjoyed this movie from the first second to the last I wanted more and this is coming from someone who had issues with the movie lol

I just enjoyed the ride a very cohesive one albeit also slightly incoherent at times but only slightly because the dots ultimately connected pretty good from start to finish as one plot element perfectly lead to another plot element.

I am Snyder Cut drunk love lol

ALE = Marriage

:chase

Darkseid will come to earth and marry a Kardashian, thus fulfilling his destiny.

:lol Tell me about it :lol

If he can remember the address.

:lol :lol :lol

Or maybe this way:

Whedon cut = ketchup

Snyder cut = tomato

Thanos will wipe out half the universe to reduce the strain on natural resources.

Darkseid will wipe out half the universe so he doesn't have to think about it. Come on man!

A little easter egg in the movie that i missed but my wife caught.

lois is pregnant.

Im the middle of the film after MM disguised as martha comes to visits her, she wakes up in the middle of the night opens the drawer next to her bed and grabs a pregnancy test then goes into the bathroom. My wife also noticed her rubbing her stomach in that way woman do when they are pregnant. Then at the end of the film bruce congratulates Lois, i thought that was for her and clark getting married but it wasnt it was in regards to her being pregnant!!!

Yeah, I noticed that, too.
So maybe Snyder's idea was to not only let Lois die because of something Batman did, but also her (and Superman's) unborn son?

Also before my words get misconstrued and anyone says I called this movie the second coming of Trump let me be clear this was no grand epic masterpiece but it certainly was one hell of a fun thrilling entertaining ride!

When I say anyone i’m soley referring to JAWS lol

Had a few days to think about this. It was better than Joss Whedon's version by far, but not great. It's blotted as hell and way too self important. And way too much slow motion. These versions of the DC heroes are far from what they were in the books save for Wonder Woman, so failure to properly adapt the DC Heroes.

Steppenwolf was vastly improved, had an actual character here. Cyborg's character was more fleshed out, but I hate his bizarre attitude, he should be more traumatized by how he was made into a cyborg, or more adapt to what he's become but he's hung up on his daddy issues. The guy lost his d ick but he's just pissed his dad didn't show up to his football game. :lol
Superman was barely in this but at least it made more of the Death Of Superman story. The Superman from the TV show Superman & Lois is better but I still like Cavill in the role, he just needs better writers in another Supes movie without Snyder's involvement.
Aquaman's attitude to Bruce Wayne and reluctance to join the JL made more sense here but there isn't much else.
The Flash had more to do, still hated how he runs and his spaztic behavior. I guess Ezra Miller thought the Flash should be jittery from his powers, stupid decision because he came off as annoying tryhard comic relief. The second most powerful character aside from Superman and he just bumbled around.
Batman was okay, I can see this as a Batman that was trying to redeem himself from his actions in BVS, makes sense that he was more humble and docile, but that's not Batman from the comics. Affleck has so much promise as Batman but the writing is off character.
Wonder Woman was great though, second best portrayal of the character, but she didn't have much to do but fight.
The fight scenes were vast improvements, all of them. I like how they handled Steppenwolf and Darkseid, better villain's than Thanos and his Black Order in the MCU. Hated the Elseworlds Apocalypse stuff at the end. It's self-indulgent Snider getting to make the characters even darker. I liked where the story left off with Darkseid coming for Earth himself and that wussy Luthor using Deathstroke to go after the JL, I wouldn't mind seeing the story continue and finish in another movie as long as it doesn't include the future apocalypse but that seems unlikely from where this left off.
Oh and that ancient battle with Zeus, Aries, and Artimis was epic! Wouldn't mind seeing more of that in another film.

Has anyone explained why Darkseid doesn't remember the name/location of the only planet that ever beat him that had those smelly motherboxes & also his coveted evil math?
It feels like the biggest plothole I can remember. Like if halfway through a Batman movie Alfred fell down a well and was like I found the Batcave Master Bruce!

Was it Darkseid's evil math, though? In the comics, the Anti-Life equation is a cosmic truth (in the form of an equation) that Darkseid is searching for. Did the ZSJL actually say that Darkseid had ever been aware that it was contained on Earth? I thought that was new info that was only discovered by Steppenwolf.

Man, guess I gotta watch this thing again already. :lol

Having had some more time to think about it, I will add this to epic list of bullet points no one?s ever gonna read :lol ...

... this film felt like it belonged to someone. There was a vision here, whatever you say about the execution, it seldom felt like a bland, design-by-committee product.

Zach just ... whipped it out to see what we?d say.

Yep! And that's exactly how it should be.

Even for those who didn't enjoy this movie, I hope that some part of them is celebrating the middle finger this was to studio meddling.

And then...

Undoing all that damage would have then been the subject of Justice League 3, with Batman and his ragtag League sending Flash back in time to try to warn the heroes about Lois? death. (You already saw one such attempt in Batman v Superman.) While Batman fails to protect Lois the first time, the second time he sacrifices his life to save her, and that allows for a very different outcome, with all of the heroes of Earth teaming up to stop him in one final battle. But wait! There would have been more! Lois? kid, who Snyder strongly implies in the article would have been Bruce?s and not Clark?s, grows up and inherits the Batcave and all of Batman?s tech to become the next Batman.

It was. I don't think Darkseid was looking for the Mother Boxes, he was looking for the A L E. The Mother Boxes awoke and drew Steppenwolf, he discovered the A L E was on Earth.

I think we actually got to see the exact moment supes finds lois’s charred remains and darkseid uses the anti life on him. During resurrection scene when flash starts running so fast it ****s with time, he causes cyborg to have a vision of the future. In it we see superman kneeling over a burnt corpse overwhelmed with grief as darkseid lays a hand on his shoulder emperor palpatine style to comfort him. I assume that is the moment he corrupts supes with the anti life cause we then see supes kicking his friends arses.

Ok, cool. I didn't misunderstand that, then. Thank you! :duff

The way I understood it, the equation is that design that appeared when Darkseid hit the earth. So, it's not his. Still doesn't quite explain how he would forget something as momentous as that. Maybe the trauma of having his butt handed to him?

Darkseid didnt know the anti life equation was on earth it was steppenwolf that discovered its location when he united the 3 mother boxes. He touched them and had vision that showed him it was on earth he then informed Dasaad.

I see what your saying about the symbol but i think the symbols were different. It was the unification of the mother boxes that allowed them to discover the location of the anti life. Darksied failed to unite them during his first invasion of earth so he wouldnt know it was there
