Like seriously, these streaming services spend a boatload on random movies. Why not just have Snyder do a JL2 to finish off his universe if it is well received? If he could find a way to get it done with a $150mil budget, why not? Well, besides the Cyborg situation, why not?

Dying is Easy was a disappointment IMO. Also the acting is incredibly forced. I loved City of Scars but this was meh. Not bad but the same old tropes. Kevin and Aaron are trying way too hard as the characters.

Well, so long as they use the same actors the movies will be part of the same universe. But they've said Snyder himself will have no further involvement.

Until he does.

Completely dependent on the Snydercuts performance i bet. But I doubt it?ll do well enough to get another movie from Snyder, unless they have a new great producer or script.

I think Snyders does incredible jobs when he has good scripts, as much as I love BvS it had clear script issues.

I could get passed 5 minutes. Dialogue is horrible, script is lame, but I never expect much from fan films. They did a great job on a 0 budget though. Visuals were decent

I couldn't get past the bad acting.
But the visuals were pretty cool. Of course you can tell the filmmaking craft is somewhat limited... but for a fan-film, it's pretty fantastic.

I enjoyed that. As a fan film, that was really well made. Also loved Doug Jones and Michael Madsen there.

"You’ve signed on to do the movie, but there are certain things that you have to push back on," Fisher explains. "There were a lot of really precarious things that they wanted to try that I found would have been slightly offensive to people that were differently abled. Some of those things, I was able to get out of the script. But it was an uphill battle for a lot of us during that time, and that’s no secret at this point."

"You could tell very quickly that [Whedon] was very upset that people did not like Age of Ultron very much," he continued. "This is what I gathered from the first conversation that I had with him. There was a bit of this sort of egotistical narcissism that ended up going into everything that he was trying to do."

"You can see it in some of the scenes that were produced. Flash falling on Wonder Woman’s [chest] is something that he yanked out of Age of Ultron and just copy-pasted here. In my first conversation creatively with him, he kept accidentally calling 'Diana' 'Natasha'; which is crazy stuff." As for those on set issues, Fisher added: "This was in the conversation that they made me have with him prior to giving me the script. There was a lot of belittling on set. There was a lot of mocking, both of previous work and of actors and people. He compared me at one point to Robert Downey Jr. And said, 'Listen, I don’t like to take notes from anybody, not even Robert Downey Jr.' And I said, “Well, okay. Be that as it may...'"

Well, his comments do paint a very nasty picture of the on set behaviour of certain people. I'm taking a wild guess that this kind of stuff is pretty common, so it's great that he's pulling the curtains back and letting everyone know how it goes, and that it's not ok...
Yeah, his career is probably not going to go the way he wanted to, but there are other things, right?
Besides, if ZSJL fulfils even 50% of the hype, I can Zack wielding a lot of power.

Holy crap, that really was Michael Madsen in a fan movie!!

Wonder how much he'd charge to dance to "Stuck in the Middle With You" at my birthday party.

To me it was mediocre. I loved City of Scars but this was a disappointment. Joker was just bad and both Aaron and Kevin are overacting. Kevin has the look and the voice but he or the director lacks the skills to make it work. He is like a big wooden, always grumpy Batman with a great voice and zero range of acting. He always acts and looks the same. I am not hating it but it took me out of the movie completely. Joker talks way too much moves too much... Everything is just artificial. The monologs between Batman and Joker are the same old story. 6/10.

That's enough for a Rotten Tomatoes fresh rating. :lol

I was shocked yet not surprised lol

He could barely connect a sentence due to all that alcohol and drug damage

Yup I agree same old story there is so much more to DC than Joker rubbing JT death in Batman face.

Look at Marvel already up to showcasing Agatha Harkness.

Time for DC fans to open up to new stories.

But nope time to show Batman’s parents getting murdered again lol

Yup :lol

Agreed. Better writing, editing, and directing could have mitigated the acting. Too much dialogue and scenery-chewing. But an accomplishment nonetheless.
