1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - GOTG Vol. 2 - Gamora Collectible Figure

I got my Nebula figure last Saturday (great figure btw) and gave all my HT Guardians new poses and added her to the shelf. Definitely a great looking bunch. I decided to watch Guardians Vol. 2 again on Sunday and afterwards I started looking around a bit for a Gamora figure. A local shop had one left in store so I decided to get it, after watching Justin's review. Mainly because the limited articulation on the original rubber-armed Gamora.

Only yesterday did I learn how this figure has sold out extremely fast, which made me even more happy that I've been able to get it. She just arrived so I'll be unpacking her tonight after work. Can't wait!

I think you are going to love this figure, because as great as she looks in these photos, in hand she is even more impressive. I totally understand why she is so hard to find now.

I do hope your waitlist converts, I will keep my fingers crossed for your bk I genuinely think you will love this figure. I wish I could give you some more useful insight, but unfortunately I don’t have any waitlist experience with Sideshow or any other vendor for that matter.

I have to say I'm super impressed by this figure. I have the Vol.1 Gamora as well and I never thought she was a bad figure. Still don't actually, but putting them side by side really shows the difference and how much the HT has improved over the years.

Love the headsculpt, outfit and the fact that the arms aren't made of rubber.

It's a 2.0.



The forehead isn't as tall, the face overall has much more likeness to the actress. Although that last part only is noticeable when you put them side by side. While the Vol.1 likeness is a bit less, it' still holds up IMO.

Thanks for posting the comparison shot. Yeah I think 1.0 likeness still holds up, I just think 2.0 paint app elevates it to a whole new level.

this is my first foray into the world of 1/6 Hot Toys Figures.This is my haul from Jan11th-Feb 10th.
My waitlist for Spider-Man and Iron Man Homecoming Converted in Jan.Gamora being the last to arrive about 11 Days ago.

Being that I have never collected and do not have any Movie related Statues in my 1/3 scale collection.I figured I would start with some of the Figures I felt captured the best likeness of the Actor/Character.I have no desire to amass a huge collection.But there are a couple of others I will add to these.
As I have no Display set up yet for these,they will go back in their packing until I do.So this is right out of the box.
