Indeed ; ) I'm saving a lot thanks to this awful year, thanks to the movie industry which is down in the toilets, and the designs that are very bad, so I can't even blame Hot Toys. There isn't a single 1/6 figure I'm interested in this year and the upcoming year.
Their last amazing figure was Harley Quinn (the original version, not the awful dance club one or the variants), because the design was top notch. The movie on the other hand was absolute trash.
But now, not only are the movies trash, the designs suck too.
You'd have to pay me a thousand dollars to make me expose this upcoming figure on my display.
It's incredible that people are okay with the trailer, Pattinson, and most of all the suit.
I remember Ben Affleck getting s**** back in the day (people eventually changed their mind when Bat V Supes came out), and I'll agree that he is worth nothing as an actor and was garbage as Bruce Wayne. But the suits rocked, and he had the body & chin. So the figures were great, despite Affleck being zero as Batman.
But thing is Pattinson has absolutely nothing. Whatever happens with the movie, the design and his face are already garbage, the figures can't be saved no matter what, it's already terrible.
I'm not even sure people will destroy the movie once it comes out as they seem quite happy with all the garbage they validate (the latest Star Wars movies, all of the MCU, and the recent DC movies).
