there's no cinema or gallery, but iirc you can replay the missions and it would play the relevant cutscenes. there's always youtube too.

My Limini A++ Aehab arrived yesterday, and it is an excellent figure! He's a bit finicky (his right boot fell off out of the box, the horn is very hard to get in enough so it will stay, the grip on one of his guns falls out easily, etc.), but after some futzing, I think I got him looking pretty good!

And here he is next to my Figma MGS2 Snake-

News online are also saying that a Remake of 1 and remaster of 2,3,4 could be released on PS5.
Hope it's not just a rumour.

I hope that's true because that would be awesome, but i would be cautious against getting my hopes too high, i heard a rumour like a year or two ago that a MGS3 remake was gonna show up at E3 and it never did.

Maybe its time for Lim toys to go back to MGS 1 and 2. https://gamerant.com/rumor-metal-gear-solid-1-2-pc/
Unless those pachinko loving suits say something official I think we should all treat this exactly as what it is, a rumor. Doesn't mean I don't want it to happen... I do... badly. :lol

Thanks for the support, yes, we wanted to give people to option to change the horns like with the 1/6 version but it didn't work out as well as we planned, definitely something to fix the next time, also I noticed your rifle is hanging by the strap on the canteen, all the rifles and the rocket launcher have a magnet inside them that can attach to the actual canteen and the metal buckles on his back!

Unfortunately that's most likely fake. MGS4 will never be remastered, the game was bonded to the PS3's architecture and will have to be reverse engineered from scratch to work on another machine (ala Kingdom Hearts).

i don't know how stoked i should be for a MG remake if Kojima is not working on it though. don't know if Konami would even want to collaborate with him with all the bridges burnt.

All the original concept art and gameplay is already done by Yoji Shinjawa and Kojima. Remaking it with up-rezed art shouldn't be too much of trouble - even for rotten Konami.
And probably this would be the last squeeze from the MG license.
So, for LIMTOYS and any other makers, this would be the last good chance to make a figure for better sales.

yeah sure they have art and story from the original MG, but MGSV added some retcon to the lore. i don't know how the hypothetical remake is going to incorporate the updated canon without direct input from Kojima.
i mean one of the reason i think MGS: Survive was a failure was because of it's straying from canon that fans disliked, and any remake would probably be treated the same without the involvement of the original creator. Just how I feel about though. Others may feel different.

MGSV didn't really retcon anything to me as the narrator isn't reliable. I wouldn't have had a problem with V retconning stuff, but as it is, nothing in the game can be taken at canon.
The biggest thing is the nature of Venom. Most people who played the game bought that Venom isn't Big Boss, and I know Nojima with his novel canonized this ending.
I won't list everything that doesn't add up within the continuity of TPP alone, but to me the biggest argument is the novel 1984, which is a huge inspiration for this game.
Mission 46 is called truth. In 1984, Truth=Lies. It's absolutely impossible for me with that in mind to take Mission 46 and all the Truth tapes for granted.

My take on the game has been the same for 5 years: Venom is Big Boss. He is just suffering PTSD. All of what happens to Paz is what actually happens to himself. He convinced himself he is the medic to try to forgive himself for Paz's death, but also for Chico (who is barely mentioned in TPP which absolutely beyond comprehension when you've played Ground Zeroes). It's clear to me he can't cope with reality no more and denies his own nature.

I'm saddened we most likely never will see the proper ending.

MGSV isn't the missing link. It's a fantasized link from a destroyed mind.
I'm still waiting for the real Metal Gear Solid 5, with the real Big Boss downfall and all the things we should've had in the game (Franck Jaeger & Sniper Wolf recruited by Big Boss, Solid Snake facing Big Boss, and so on).

It's still an incredible game to me and worthy of the title "The Phantom Pain". I still can't get over it 5 years later, and Kojima's complete lack of communication and information ever since then blows my mind. Shame he completely lost himself with Death Stranding. I'm still hoping for a proper come back on the Metal Gear saga. It's his Star Wars, he has to complete it himself. No one else can.

Yup, MGSV was a mess of a great game. I think technically the conclusion of MGSV and the beginning of Big Boss would be Metal Gear.

Well that explains a lot, as I saw in a few of your official pics that rifle on the left-hand side of the figure seemingly magically attached to it, and I wondered what was going on! And here I thought I was being pretty clever to use the long strap to affix it to that side of the figure, but I'll try using the magnets tonight!

Thanks for the explanation!

Yeah and this mess was clearly done on purpose, and Kojima left us with absolutely no final word. Which absolutely serves the theme of phantom pain. It still hurts after 5 years. Especially when Death Stranding was such a failure.

Some Youtubers are saying MGS1 remake, and MGS2 + MGS3 remaster for PS5 and PC exclusively.

I personally would have liked a Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 remakes but I?ll take a Metal Gear Solid remake. Seeing what Konami did with Survive has me worried though.
