Our long national original trilogy nightmare is over. There is balance to the force. Looks fine to me, and I will be the first idiot to probably get 2. One for hoth and one dagobah landing.
Wait, I?m being told the force is still out of balance. It will never be until we finally get bespin han and lando. They can?t be on the horizon because han could have been teased in these pics. Oh well, luke is enough for me right now.

also, now we can expect an x wing pilot luke with sideways stare sculpt. That will piss me off. I had sideways sculpts. I would prefer cross eyed, lol.

Definitely in for this, although the reused sculpt is extremely disappointing. I really didn?t want my Jedi Luke, Endor Luke and Snowspeeder Luke having the same sculpt.

Might as well join me double dipping, not much else to get ot wise anyway. I was always annoyed at myself for skipping the sideshow, so technically it is not double dipping. I would have had 2 either way, if I hadn?t been a ht snob and missed the sideshow.

about $260 on toyswonderland for this. Q2-Q3 2022. No rush to preorder this.

So it will be delayed into Q4 and won?t ship state side until 2023.

Why even bother showing stuff if the wait is this long.

I don?t even care about this now.

Yeah, I'll likely get two as well. Really happy this one didn't go the way of so many others that never went to PO but... YIKES... two year wait? Is that correct? I can't think of such a long lead time on another fig - maybe due to COVID? I almost thought with that 40th presentation it might have dropped this year, but no.

I still quite like the Luke sculpt they're re-using (seems a few people hate it) - to me it's the second best Hamill likeness just behind the BD Luke Bespin sculpt. I used this one for my Bespin Luke and Dago Luke and love it.

The new hair is fine, but it's slightly unconvincing (almost like wavy Granny hair for some reason) though I wasn't a fan of the DX07 regular hair either.

Well...now I'll have my Sideshow for display on Dagobah and the HT one for Hoth.....

Don't you mean the other way around? The SS puffier jacket is much better suited to Hoth while this slimmed down dirtier one with an unhelmeted headsculpt you would actually use is much better suited to Dagobah. At least that's what I plan to do.

Also since this is 2022, I can?t see Jango coming until 2023 at least now as I imagine they?ll want to get Clone Wars Kenobi out closer to Anakin which is also 2022.

Agree the two year wait sucks. But they?ve done this before with Marvel releases when it got really busy. Put out a general 2 year lead time and then trim it back when they know their production scheduling better.

That way everyone is happy with a pull forward date as opposed to a delay.

So therefore I?d take the 2 year timing with a grain of salt.

Would love to see their future product list for the next 2-3 years though.

But you have to admit setting two year lead times on products that rely on pre-orders to set final sales volumes, which such a lead time heavily discourages, is a pretty bad business model.

August 2022? Given the sculpt re-use I think they'll get there faster; at least I hope so.

Wow, I'm pretty shocked this is actually getting a PO! I really thought HT would drag this out at least another year. And yeah, 2 years wait seems crazy!

Looks great, but I agree a closed mouth would have looked better. This will be my one and only Luke in my collection.

Now bring on Bespin Han!
