Received mine last week and even though I was prepared for disappointment, it was worse. Feet do NOT move at all, the ab section is fused and completely immobile to. She looks stupid in a flight pose because the articulation isn?t there. The ?leather? jacket is a joke.

Ughh worst figure of the year, it makes the FO Stormtroopers look decent.

Damn, this is disappointing to hear. Was thinking of making this my first post-COVID purchase.

Yeah I have to say it just looks incredibly stiff and rigid in every pic I've seen. I've seen people able to mod IW Thor with it's solid torso though, so I wonder if something similar might be possible with this?

It would be ironic if that knockoff figure ends up having better articulation than the official HT one. Lol

Doe anyone else who has received this figure already feel the same way? Was debating cancelling this to put the funds towards Commander Cody. Reading this review is concerning.

I kinda agree. I got mine yesterday and was surprised how poor the articulation is throughout the figure. My biggest gripe is the figures size, it’s just way off and looks tiny next to other figures. I have placed CM at the back in flight mode so she looks at least in scale. The size issue is more of a problem over the articulation. Never the less, it’s a great looking figure especially when she has her light effects on. I hard wired mine to take full advantage of the lights.

Just FYI, I have no ulterior motive in my honest assessment of this figure and this has been confirmed by 2 others that I chat with (one of whom used to be very active doing early reviews on YouTube). The ankles make zero sense to me as to why they are completely immobile so I needed to confirm with others that it was normal since I have never seen this limited articulation in a HT?s figure. If it was just the waist then I would chalk it up to them reusing WW?s torso mold. It was so surprising how limited the figure is that when I had read initial reports from people who received it from HK, I was skeptical about it being so bad. Unfortunately they were right and it?s obvious to me now looking at the promo pictures for this and for the EG version.

It?s so strange and makes me worried about future female figure releases since both BW and Gamora?s figures have great ankle and decent waist articulation but if HT?s decides to use this static body as a base for future females, I will have no choice but to cancel BW, Gamora vol. 2 and Nebula. It?s unlikely that Gamora vol. 2 will be as bad as Captain Marvel being that I?ve seen and it?s been shown at multiple conventions to have good articulation. Judging the pictures so far of EG BW, the waist looks well articulated like previous figures but I am concerned with the ankles and Nebula looks to be using the same body as EG BW so we will see.

Good luck with your decision. One thing I can offer for your specific decision, Cody will be very likely well executed and Capt Marvel has a good chance of going on sale. Comic movie figure sales have been dropping while Star Wars is starting to grow again.

The size?!?!?! That’s strange since the figure is the same size as BW without the Mohawk! Either way, this thing still hardly moves.

Say it ain't so! :thud:

I can see where you're coming from, this figure doesn't allow for fluid articulation, but I myself am not too bothered since I'm more of a museum poser. I can rotate the feet side to side on mine, so perhaps yours are stuck or incredibly stiff. I agree, the suit does feel restrictive and the figure feels stiff, not to my detriment, but we all have our preferences and tolerances :duff

I'm anticipating the ko to maybe have improved articulation too lol

Here is my first pose. I just wish she was a little bigger.

It might be necessary to heat up the feet or other parts of the figure so as to loosen them up a bit...
