Finally! ...this is one I need. Not sure why the price surprises anyone. It?s reasonable relative to the last few releases - that are now pretty old.

i would like to get the head sculpt and some pieces parts. i worked hard for years trying to put my custom together for lando. the boots were all scratched built from a fellow member on here. and everything else like armor was hasbro`s some other parts from sideshow anakin skywalker black shirt some leather parts to make the skirt flap etc etc

Yeah I mean I like to crap on Sideshow as much as anyone, but it's $10 more than a 'standard' Hot Toys price and has 2 heads. I don't think it's that bad at all. If you were waiting for this figure it's pretty much what I'd expect.

HT version has to come eventually. Not paying almost ?250 after shipping and customs for a Sideshow figure. Maybe when they inevitably don't sell enough and start offering a free UK shipping deal, though probably not.
I'll wait for the inevitable Bespin Lando from HT.
I don't see the roughly $280 in worth in this figure (figure, shipping & tax).
Edit: for those of you with the Jabba setup, this may be your only chance for this character so pay the piper and take the financial hit.

Sideshow is so all over the map - a year and half later this returns from the dead.
So weird how this gets the long delay (and will likely have a ship date of mid 2021) but Jabba was suddenly announced and shipped in record time, and before that it was a new Yoda that popped up for the first time with an instant ready-to-ship order page.
I wonder how this going for PO relates to SSC still making SW 1/6 figs? Maybe it was announced just before the 1/6 license expired and that gives the right to release it? Will this be the last SSC SW fig? Isn't this the last SSC SW 1/6 fig they have previewed - nothing more in 18 months? Pretty sure it is.
The figure looks awesome overall but as always, I do wonder about the proto-to-production drop with this. The likeness on the helmet-less head does look a bit off (jawline too chiseled and face too lean,) but still pretty solid, certainly a decent chunk of Lando in there and lots of sculpt detail. But an older, more idealized BDW. The skin color seems a bit too dark but that's common in Lando figures going all the way back to Kenner.

i saw it when i scrolled down the front page. it looks good in all but since i have a custom of him already might grab parts to up grade like head sculpt and such.

I think it looks pretty damn good. The price isn't too shocking for a 1/6 with two heads nowadays. I doubt I will use the Billy Dee head much but it's still nice to have. My biggest complaint at a glance is the top of his helmet looks a bit too much like leather and not enough like partially rusted metal. I'm probably in on this for sure, a great figure for Jabba and crew.

I don't think it's an exclusive from what I can tell, so at least a lot of people can avoid the shipping/tax ordering elsewhere. But yeah I agree, if you want a Skiff Lando, this is it.

Where's your custom pics then, GG? Pics or it didn't happen.
The helmet surface does look a bit metallic in some pics, but it is supposed to be weathered leather.
Yeah, I really hope SSC hasn't lost the license just when they start to hit their 1/6 stride. Outfit wise it's an awesome looking piece, though I do wish the no-helmet headsculpt was closer to HT level for use on an ESB Bespin Lando, but it doesn't seem to be quite at that "standalone hero display" level (ie where the headsculpt can carry the overall figure,) even though it's a solid step up on nearly all the "no hat/helmet" heads we';ve gotten from SSC over the years.
Unfortunately I restarted my Lando Skiff custom (delayed so I could finish Amanaman) when this fig disappeared for so long, so I would have loved to be able to get this to display with no helmet. I do really like the head (notcieably better than I was expecting,) but I wish it was a tad better.
