I think TROS is the best of both worlds. And I think the new unmasked head is slightly better

The TROS figure made me pause on this one. I've always been meaning to get it just to have sort of an evolution of the character on the shelves but given the pause and pivot from this and how much closer he looks to the TFA version I might be better to skip it. Still deciding though.

I haven't watched TROS yet, but I may end up getting that version as well. I can always sell this version, plus the wait for TROS is a long wait for me.

Buy it, if you dont like it sell it. Besides ebay and Sideshow, everywhere seems to be sold out or the prices are inflated.

Not seen RoS yet either, but playing Battlefront 2 and this appearance does look the best playing as Kylo. The hooded cape and the red on the helmet give it a more impressive visual.

When was this figure released? I would expect the PT figure to get waitlisted before this? Or was this release a while ago? Or is it because the release of ROS movie? I still need to see it.

I decided to jump on the WO for this. I still prefer his outfit in TFA more but I dig this ones head sculpt more than ROS. We?ll see what happens

2 hours later my WL already converted lol. Gonna pick this up. As others have said can always sell it if I decide later on TROS version but doubtful

I grabbed this from SS with $25 coupon and rewards, made it $201 shipped. I do prefer TRoS version helmet though, but this was a good deal. I already have TFA version which I like the best...

Got this figure in and I love it. The unmasked head is really great but for some reason I?m just so drawn to the helmet/cape look. The boot pegs also had to go, he?s WAY too tall with them in.

Yeah putting that helmet on is a nightmare. The cape has magnets and yes just drapes over his shoulder

Man I really hope my waitlist converts for this guy. I regert not picking him up, TROS sculpt is so bad compared to this, even though the outfit is cooler.

Custom of the Kylo Ren episode 8 Hot toys helmet with the red crackles of episode 9.
I will add later the small parts of welds on the chrome lines.
