Yeah Im all for reissues. I never intend on selling much of my collection. So if they reissued figures that I have like the MK5 or WM MK1 I would be super happy for the people who had a chance to grab them. In this case I am thrilled as I passed on this figure a few times before the price skyrocketed.

I agree. Reissuing figures is a mistake.

Pretty sure Sideshow is doing just fine based off of the reissues they've done so far.

If they are looking at eBay, then they're seeing that there's considerable interest in a figure and probably would rather people buy through them at a 'reasonable' cost.

People will always be up in arms because they feel it hurts their investment if that's how they look at their collection.

Iron Man is not the only figures they rerelease. A company hot toys size should not be looking longingly at prices on eBay then greedily chasing those dollars. Long term this will hurt them I think.

Greedily chasing money is kinda the whole point of a business. If they see a demand they can meet with their product they're going to meet it as any reasonable business would. I'm not understanding how reissuing figures will "hurt" Hot Toys.

I'm happy for those who really wanted this & missed out the first go-around. I still don't find the color combination appealing, so I'm content with my Mark XLVI representing this armor's place in the evolution of Tony's suit designs.

I just did a quick count & I think this is the 8th re-issue HT has announced in the past year or so. HB, Mark 43, Mark 50, Spidey HC, Spidey Homemade, Two-Face, 2012 Cap and Mark 47. Did I miss any?

This is one of the few Iron Mans I passed on because I just didn't like the design enough to pay the asking price. Was hoping to snag it in the secondary market for less than retail. Boy was I wrong. Looks like I might have another chance if they make too much of these. I think a lot of the "demand" is artificial due the limited initial production run and people feeling like they missed out once prices went up.

IW Thor and the Star Wars reissues like episode iv Han and Chewy

I don't consider myself as an Ironman collector as I only have 2 figures for now, so what's the reason to reissue this? I'm looking for the Mk5 to be reissued as I missed that.

Now mark 46 is gonna skyrocket to ridiculous prices like this one did. calling it now.

I only grabbed the PPS version of 47 last time just so I could have 47 in the collection, but I still don't understand the seemingly obsessive appeal of this iteration... But I may pick it up this time around in case the prices do go up again and maybe I can get some chump to pay out the @$$ for it [emoji38]

If they remake older figures I'm all for it. Hankering for a redo of Andrew Garfield Spidey, Thor and Loki at the moment.

Screw Garfield Spider-Man. He has a good asm2 figure. We desperately need a raimi Spider-Man revisit. Like come on. It?s a classic franchise up there with burton Batman . Give us doc ock and a revamped Spider-Man from 2. If they can do batman forever they can do this

I had mentioned this before regarding the Mark 43 and Hulkbuster reissue. Especially with the character now retired from the films and Iron Man's popularity in Asia, I wouldn't be surprised to see any of the past armors as straight-up reissues of their original diecast releases. I'd bet Mark 46 and Mark 5 are on the short list to be done.

I’m so happy they are doing this. I canceled my original pre order for this because I switched jobs and kicked myself since. Now I will own it. I’m all for reissues as in all my collecting have felt anyone should have the chance to own something as I don’t collect for value.

Yeah, I don't like the colors on this at all and not a lot of people did either going by the low pre-order numbers. I think a lot of people had fomo and wanted it after they realized production numbers were low. Hope they reissue MK46. I would get that for sure.

Wouldn't be surprised if they over-produce this like the Mark L and VII. I guess some people will try to pick up multiples with hopes of reselling (much) later down the road.

I assume the V, VI, and XLVI reissues are next up then, considering their respective prices on eBay. The IV is still on Waitlist at SSC, but wouldn't be shocked at this point if they jumped straight into a reissue, just like the Mark L and Infinity War Thor. Or maybe they will let the IV sell out, gain value, then announce the reissue later on lol.

As someone who wasn't able to get the original release of this figure because of budget concerns, I am extremely excited that they are reissuing this. I can understand why people who already own the original would be mad but I mean c'mon! Most people don't collect Hot Toys because they see value in them, they collect them because they look cool.

awesome! i always felt bad for selling mine off, but i have some points i might use one reordering the 47. it really is a beautiful looking figure.
