Overall another great looking addition to the Star Wars Samurai series. Yes I frickin hate this character, but the figure looks too cool for me to pass on since I have the rest ��

This line is amazing, frankly. got the red guard one off eBay and was so blown away by it. Kinda wish 7" was the standard for the black series after seeing how much bigger this was compared to the bs

Here's my review of the new Bandai Star Wars Movie Realization Captain Phasma. A nice looking figure, but mine does have a few QC paint issues.

I also dont particularly like some of the design choices they made with softer materials and ball joints for aspects of the kama.

As always, thanks for the great reviews Khai. I'm starting to think there are like 3 of us left on the boards who actually care about this line.

I was in Tokyo when the FO trooper hit and I wasn't too impressed with it in person. Confirmed my decision to pass. Did you get Kylo? I'd be interested in your thoughts on that one compared to these re quality. I think Kylo has more exposed joints that previous figures and the quality is a notch lower, but not as much as you suggest for Phasma and the FO trooper.

Still interested in the line but i totally skipped the sequel stuff. As much as i find the OT design blends perfectly with japanese feodal style, those modernized ST designs don't. It is especially glaring with that FO trooper. Face mask just looks out of place.

I got Phasma and she’s the only ST figure I plan on getting from this line. I wish they’d already hurry up with IG. I don’t care if they say he’s 88 or 11 anymore. Just release him already. It’s been like 4 years already since we first got the tease.

That's the one I'm most interested in getting. Would be awesome if they did the whole bounty hunter line up as band of ronin for hire.

Yeah, it does seem a little quiet in these thread these days lol

I did notice the Kylo elbow joints in the promo pics. I should be getting that in the next week or so, so will post my thoughts here.

That would be the most incredible thing ever. I?ve seen a custom Mando repaint of Fett and it works just as well. I would imagine not much alterations will be needed to turn a Fett into the Mando for Bandai since there?s a lot of creative leeway anyway.

Personally, I?d prefer them to make a totally original figure for him since everything is basically different, but I?m setting my expectations low with a modded repaint

I've passed on the NO Stormtrooper (too many stormtroopers already and I have a feeling that they will just rehash the OT stormtroopers), but picked up Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma.
