Thank you for the videos and photos. It looks like they overdid the weathering a little bit. But IMO it is a little hard to judge since the lights are so bad in the room that you cannot make out the details. If they tone down the weathering it will be much better.

But all in all it everything before this convinced me that this is just perfect all around. There is this video from Sisko:



And now we have the new one. Is it me or the teeth looks the same only they are different colors? I don't know. Did they changed the jaws to be in a different position? Or it is just the angle?

Yeah that looks full blown. The teeth, rust weathering, and neck Pistons all look horrible.

To be honest it looks a lot worse than before in my opinion. The rust, weathering effects are way too much. The teeth...I don't know,. They changed the color but something seems different about it. Don't like them.

Also what is up with the pistons at the neck again? Is it just not positioned in a correct way and they are movable? Or they changed it to be this wide? Can someone confirm this from Prime 1 please? I paid full for it already and to me it is a little too much of a change. The old version looks a lot better. Pretty much perfect.

The way I see it the collectors are not really liking the changes. I hope it will be a good feedback for Prime 1 and they will consider to change it back.

Man it would suck cause I paid ****load of money for it and I cannot cancel it from Europe. No way...Why Prime 1 doing this is a mystery to me. They are making this a lot worse.

I think it would still be a pretty impressive piece to have on display just due to the sheer size, but yeah with these changes it's just not grabbing me the same way it did before, and no longer seems worth shelling out two grand for.

And unfortunately it's probably too late in the game now for them to make any further changes.

I just don't know how they are okay with this? It is like at the case of Sideshow...now Prime 1 is taking the artistic license approach too. Hopefully we will get some answer. On Prime 1 collectors group Kelvin Loke said they do not have any new info regarding the changes...and they did not get any notification about changes....which we have clearly. Hopefully we will get some info soon.

Same here. Even though I would have preferred to pay this down with monthly installments, I'd much rather be sure first of how the final product is gonna look.

Did Prime1 ever lied about anything regarding changes and stuff? Personally I never saw bad things from them.

I got a Facebook message from them too. It is almost the same:

''Hi, thank you for your message. This is just a prototype and we are going to make the original product looking more like the first version we have shared, so please rest assured. Regards, P1S''

But here they said more like the prototype...which makes the hole sentence different.

It's probably best not to overthink it. Ultimately it sounds like they will be reverting back to how it looked in the original promo pics, which is all that really matters.

The statue got delayed until January - February. Hopefully cause they will fix what they messed up with their newest prototype.
