Called them up on their head office.

Tried to reach the operations manager but appearently he wasn?t available.

The secretary told me to send an email, so I attached the previous email response from [email protected] (which responded that it will come soon - month ago) and told them I would like to follow up with the product MMS456

Appreciate it if you guys can try as well. I?ll try to reach the operations manager another time again.

You do realise they're not just sat on their backsides twiddling their thumbs until someone emails them for an update which reminds them to suddenly speed up production... right?

Wait, is that not how production works? I thought we were all supposed to email so that they know how many to produce?

On a nicer less snarky note, it's a bit naive to think emailing will work or make them think they need to go faster. Their production is their production, we all know going into these pieces the wait times and possible delays. They could and should be better at communication regardless of it all, they just aren't, but emailing, as previously stated, doesn't achieve anything.

But who knows, maybe your email will be the nudge that tips them into putting it out at least maybe an hour earlier than what they had planned?

I'm sorry, the figure is up for preorder, it will be released. Production schedules prioritize figures with more demanding popularity. No disrespect to anyone, but a version of a character that may or may not continue on in film from a failure of a movie isn't going to be atop their priority list. But it's up for preorder, which means it'll be here when it gets here.

Fadz, good luck man. I hope you get us some fresh Intel.

Thank you,

I understand the critics on this thread have a point. Given the situation, I?m not looking to push the production of the product or it?s release.

I am however trying to get information on its release date to say the least.

I wish others were helpful and are trying instead of doing nothing.

The folks that reportedly spoke wiith Howard Chan at the recent conventions (seems it was a number of them?) said he said end of September. One YT channel owner said in 15 days which which at that time placed it at mid September. I'm looking for it to appear in HK some time in the last week of this month. It'll still take 6-8 weeks to ship to the U.S. of course. But I'm expecting that we'll have it in hand by mid to late November.

I can be patient. It's sure been a long wait, though!

Thank you for the informative response.

So I guess there is nothing to do but wait and enjoy my Medicom Mafex Justice League Superman until his big brother is born.

I dont know how long youve been collecting but thats just the nature of Hot Toys.

Theyre a busy business.

Not to mention, did you hear about the massive country-wide political protest going on at Hong Kong right now???

Gee.......:slap

It pays off to be patient and just letting things happen....
Im pretty sure we all have other things to do outside of collecting.

Looking at the replies some threads garner I'll say a good number of collectors do nothing but sit in front of their computers and wait for their figures. :lol

Which has nothing to do with it. Only management is in HK, everything else is being done outside China.

HT production doesn't take place in Hong Kong? Is it Taiwan? If so why then the lag between release in HK and them arriving elsewhere? Just curious if this is correct.

It does not. It's in Vietnam.
