Well you've got to include Iron Man in there. He gets moments just as important and epic as Cap's

He gets to perfect time travel (unfortunately) and gets the best line and death in the film...

He never gets a really cool moment.. Not like Cap... IMO this feels more like a Cap movie through and through with IM in as a Special Guest.

I do wonder where all this new found animosity toward the movie is coming from since I remember that you did watch it again in the theater and realized that Cap wasn't as over the top as you had previously assumed. Even with the power of Mjolnir he still never even cause Thanos to shed a single drop of blood! That honor still goes to Tony in IW.

My second viewing I was able to enjoy it more while I watched it... Cap really didn't effect me one way or the other with the 2nd viewing... Its when I think of the film after viewing it I get frustrated
:lol

Its a lot like TLJ that way.. I enjoyed it both times while watching it but when I think about it, I see it for what it is. But EG is still a better movie as I will at least be able to watch this again.. I am done with TLJ.. I have tried and its officially dead to me :lol

Its not animosity towards Cap as much as it is frustration with Russo's as it is obvious who their favs are.

Again it just feels more like a Cap movie to me.

All Cap did was manage to stay alive in epic and glorious fashion, lol

Yes he did.

So I watched the final battle shot by shot in slow mo and just checking out what was going on all over the place.

I will say.. Other then Cap getting Mjolnir and Tony snapping his fingers.. Nobody gets a really true stand out moment... Well Scarlet Witch does (my fav moment actually) and Captain Marvel (My least fav... Mostly because of that awful haircut :lol )

So while it sucks that Hulk gets next to nothing... That pretty much goes for everyone else...

He still should have been there with Cap, Thor, and Iron Man in the first part of the fight..

Having said all this... It just supports what I really don't like about the final battle.

Oh Hulk. Look what they have done to you. :(

Just accept that wasn't Hulk in the film. He was just a bigger version of Banner, which is what they needed to make a time machine. Yeah, maybe he should have been in that first fight, but Black Widow wasn't even in the final battle, so Banner was at least in it.

I wonder what the reasoning was to not have Hulk hulkout and fight Thanos for a minute the way Scarlet Witch did? It would have made the film just a minute longer, and given Hulk fans what they wanted, a rematch and a moment of redemption by having Hulk overpowering Thanos, until Thanos decides he needs his blade to fend off an angry Hulk.

Ii understand why Capt Marvel got her moment holding the gauntlet against Thanos. That was a role reversal and reference to Cap A holding the gauntlet in IW. Both ended with a similar outcome, so I'm glad that wasn't Hulk. :lol

Just finished watching Endgame for the first time. Did not see this in theatres. I'm so glad I don't watch trailers. Every scene, beat, look action sequence I was seeing for the first time. People really should not watch trailers.....you guys need to be strong like me!!! #patience

Oh I don?t think of him as hulk.... not even as professor hulk... this hulk has nothing in common with any hulk that I know.

I'm not a comic guys so I don't know who these characters in comic books but the only character I was confused about is Captain Marvel. Correct me if I am wrong but was the purpose of her own movie only so we would be familiar with who rescues IM at the beginning of the movie? I thought she would have a bigger role to play in ENDGAME seeing that SLJ contacted her at the end of IW? Curios if she has that haircut in the comics?

She does have that haircut in the comics but Larson can?t pull it off:lol

She mentioned a few times that she’s helping other worlds however if that was important to our story then we would have had scenes from that. It’s puzzling really. I’m not knocking the character but finding the purpose of the character in our story

But we can?t start faulting EG for something it was never meant to be.

Both IW and EG were about closure on 6 characters out of the 30 plus especially Stark?s and Cap?s.

EG was never going to be about detailing CM cosmic travels that?s for another phase.

Contracts were up and Brie Larson wasn?t one of them.

No one that was closely following the MCU walked into EG expecting 30 minutes dedicated just to CM motivations and whereabouts.

The purpose of her character took a back seat to the core Avengers...well except Hulk lol

I think CW restructured the hierarchy of the core Avengers and what was once "the big four" became the big two with Cap and Tony. EG was about uniting those two and closing their arcs above all others.

Second tier team was the Trinity going back to the original forest fight in A1. Then Hulk, then the full six.

In my mind I always placed the most importance on Stark, Rogers and Thor then came Banner, BW and Clint taking up 2nd tier.

Hell after Avengers Clint became a joke of a character for quite awhile there before bizarrely taking on a life of his own.

Thor 3 and IW certainly started the Banner renaissance.

BW was always just BW nothing more nothing less sidetracked with a very odd love story with Banner.

While i?m very curious to see the BW movie because fleshing out her back story will only help make her more interesting plus there might be some cool surprises in there I can not emphasize enough just how content I am with the IS ending at EG with the FFH epilogue and just how much I am disconnected from future events especially since the IS can?t be equaled and cinema history has already been made nothing left to prove there.

Yep if you break the core six into two groups that's definitely how they'd split. I just put Tony and Steve at the top since CW and Ragnarok broke the main four into two pairs (Cap/Tony and Thor/Banner.)

Which gives:

1. Cap/Tony
2. Thor/Banner
3. BW/HE

I can not emphasize enough just how content I am with the IS ending at EG with the FFH epilogue and just how much I am disconnected from future events especially since the IS can?t be equaled and cinema history has already been made nothing left to prove there.

Yep SMFFH is like the little mint you get at the end of an awesome Italian dinner. Not really a part of the meal or necessary but a fun little bonus at the end nonetheless, lol.

How much of a man child or beta do you gotta be age-wise to like this film? Cause i didn't!
