I gotta say Toypanic based out in Malaysia is starting to look like a real contender for purchasing HTs due to their low USD prices. I know I saw someone vouch for them yesterday, but are there any other people who have purchased from them before?

Good/bad experiences? Is the exchange policy a pain if there's a defect or something? Also does your credit card get charged a foreign transaction fee?

I spoke with them yestatday:

"For shipping to Poland, the most cost-effective way is by standard air mail with tracking, but if you have a FedEx or DHL account we can try to arrange pickup for you for those items and then they will handle everything for you. Or we could quote you express shipping for those items also (usually via SF Express).

Do you want standard shipping costs or express shipping costs for each item? Or both? If both, it will take time for us to get a quotation for express shipping.
Standard air shipping to Poland for these diecast 1/6 figures will be around MYR 240.00 each.

We prefer to accept Paypal payments in MYR as the conversion rate for USD is constantly changing. Just provide us your Paypal email and we will send you a payment link from our side for your orders.
Also if you wish to pay by Paypal, we will have to add 5% on the total cost of the order for the Paypal charges. If possible, we recommend you pay with your credit card via our Razer Merchant Service online portal through our website. There will be no additional charges for it."

Gotta say, that standard shipping cost at MYR 240.00 is a bit a steep. That converts into roughly $58 USD, which is a bit high for shipping...but I suppose international shipping for a relatively heavy package would cost around that range. Also I know that price is quoted for Poland, but I'd imagine it'll probably be similar shipping to the US as well.

If shipping is gonna cost that much, can't say there is much savings anymore then since it is negated by high shipping costs.

I've used them several times over 3-4 years. mostly good experiece.
Things to watch out for
1. Malaysia custom doesn't like anything long and sharp (and die-cast metal). My 1/6 figures with Swords got returned a multiple times. They will refund and cancel your order if this happens.
2. Sometimes they get short supply. You might end up with cancellation notice after it's sold out everywhere. This is specially the case if the figure becomes pre-sold out and become highly sought after. They will refund and cancel your order if this happens.

Exaxtcly .. about the clean Mk85 ... on HT website, right now they shows accessories coming.. has the nano gaunlet been removed from the non battle damaged 85 ?

I'm afraid HT page is the one not updated. SS has up-to-date image. "accessories" = just gauntlet. Suck it, customers, we are keeping everything else for the BD release which you don't know about yet and/or accessories pack in the future for the clean Mk 85.

Yeah, I ordered the regular version from PCZ. $429 including shipping. Going to Sideshow to get that Tupperware lid would cost me an extra $39 (assuming the same $22 shipping I was charged for the Mark L). Not worth it to me, especially considering it probably would just stay in the box.

- eshop in my country: 2280 figure + 50 shipment = 2330 PLN
- SS: (446& - 40$ RP) + 70$ shipment + 94$ VAT = 2234 PLN
- ToyPanic: 385$ + 60$ shipment + 23$ PayPal charges = 1850 PLN / or with VAT 1900 PLN (but I never had to pay for it when I ordered figures from Malysia from other shops) - value of the package 100$
- KGHobby: 400$ + 55$ shipment = 1790 PLN / or with VAT 1840 PLN (but I never had to pay for it when I ordered figures from HongKong, from KGHobby) - value of the package 100$
