Uhhhh...it has plently to do with the topic. We were discussing the diffrences between Burton/Nolan...ect. I was bringing up my issue with most burton fans.

Obviously its not you, because you're not saying "BALE IS SISSY BOY". Some of the Bale thing is in another thread, and else where. So....

Who's scarier to meet in a back ally way? A clown with a funny grin? Or a weird, badly painted, dude with a smile cut into his face...

I'd run faster if Ledger's was coming after me.

O come on, the guy has a hump and is in bad physical shape. I work out, i would kick his ass like batman does:lol:rotfl:lol

Hehe, well, you got me there. Although it looks like TDK's Joker could take quite a beating....

I did say Bale is a batgeek in the past but not anymore, i kinda like some things about Nolan's bat right now.

you said people say Heath got what he deserved for making Brokeback Mountain. Is that the general stance of Burton bat-fans, DEFINATELY NOT!!!! So why even bring something so horrible up? I bet only christian retards say horrible stuff like that.

My friend is a Burton fan. Jack is the only Joker....yadadada. And i've heard it on other forums from some screwed up people.

By the way, I dont hang out with that loser anymore. :D

Good one, i believe in the integrity of the filmmaker but you have to admit that the studio isn't completely innocent in exploiting the sad and tragic death of Ledger. They have been marketing this film like it is a Joker movie ever since. You almost forget batman and Two-face are in it. Studios only care about the mighty dollar.

It's a good thing that we can see Heath one last time in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, i like Terry Gilliam.

It was being marketed as a Joker movie before he died. The first teaser trailer was about the Joker. The Imax clip was all about the Joker. The two teaser posters were about the Joker. All before he died.

Well maybe i'm wrong then:eek:.

Yeah, and speaking of Terry, I also liked The Brothers Grimm....which Ledger starred in that too. So, I want to see his last (not completed) film.

Yep, they even considered trying to focus on Batman and Two Face... But Nolan and co. decided it was best to honor Heath's performance and continue as planned. Which they did.

It was meant to be a super hyped performance from the start.

My bad then.

By the way, i have a TDK Burger King figure, i'm willing to trade for a HT one. Pm me if interested.

Late for the party here, but....

Just picked up the score today....talk about amping up the intensity! Some random thoughts on it as I listen...In addition to re-visiting the themes from BB, Zimmer & Howard have added some interesting aural twists here...I'm being reminded a bit of some early Tangerine Dream with an industrial bent. Nice.

I also have to wonder if some of the reviews that are mentioning "Heat" as a comparison to DK are doing so in part because of this score....I see this sound working well with something intense from Michael Mann....hmmmm....what would his take on Batman be like?

This score...the same but different. Enough of a new edge to make it an extension of the BB score, as well it should be....

Anyhow....enough ramblin' from me here......is it Thursday night yet? :)
