Assuming they put this up for order in 2019, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a variant paint scheme as a SDCC 2020 exclusive. But it will probably be some neon colored monstrosity and not silver and black.

If neon was the only alt for this figure, that would be just the worst.

well i may as well just admit I'll probably order this even if the blue is too bright, it is probably accurate though because the scene was so dark in the film.

They changed Loki to be accurate to a different scene in the film, not to cave to the whiny masses.

Besides, Hot Toys doesn't get to "decide" what color a character is. Marvel Studios TELLS them what color a character is.

With that said, IF THEY send this figure to production , it is a big, complex and expensive set of entirely new molds. So chances are they'll find a way to reuse it, ie alternate/concept art colorways.

There may be a ton of plastic involved, but it’s still going to be called a diecast figure. No reason Hot Toys would drop that streak now. Unless they didn’t call the Hulkbuster diecast either.

Going off this guy saying these are the movie models, then I'd say the Iron Studios is more accurate. I'm sure HT will update it..if they release it.

Yeah, they missed a few areas that should be red... I'm confident it will be screen accurate by the time it releases.

This is just an assumption of mine, but I'm guessing Hot Toys were not aware of that armor being blue and red iron patriot colors until the movie came out or sometime very close to that. Same with Fat Thor.

Exactly. Some people need to grow up. Hot Toys have access to the actual color of the armor. If you don't like it so what? Hot Toys is not your personal company making figures for you only. Don't like it then buy it and repaint it yourself.
