The "animation" looks odd to me. I mean, yes it looks real -- if you buy realistic animals talking and making unnatural human expressions best they can. It's just a strange choice. They should have went surreal with a more exaggerated look for the animals to offsets the human qualities. I mean, this is still in the traditional sense a "cartoon" despite its reality-based look.

You and me, both. The original never did anything for me, so I doubt this one will either.

But, my 4 year old wants to see it, so I guess I'll be seeing it too.

Donald Glover sucks/ can't sing or act...outshined by Beyoncé on every scene lol)
