I was wondering, I ordered two doctor strange figures. One for a friend for his birthday starting to look like for next year now. But would sideshow send it in one box or two?

I don't have a running list of all the v2s... but I remember Yoda was one. More tattered robe and darker green face I think (maybe lighter was v2), also the hair was better, thinner on the v2.

2nd run ANH Han seemed to have better paint apps. Running change on Deadpool to fix wrist-cuff issue...

Yeah, I didn't mean that as a jab at you. I just recall it came up once as a bit of a joke once.

But there definitely can be small mods to the main run compared to the first run which comes out to Secret Base customers. I mean that's probably why they do it. Same in car production. Prototype, then small production run to iron out any final issues before the main run is produced.

So in some ways there are some advantages to getting a figure from the main production batch.

No, I didn't take it that way, but thanks for saying it. I know you and I and others often push the boundaries of the v2 just to get people's OCD overflowing. But there are many examples over the years of little imperfections that are adjusted on "second batches"... especially ones with delays.

I'm really surprised that Sideshow has yet to get him in yet. Hong Kong got him like 2 months ago. I'm hoping for him and Thanos to be in stock soon and then hopefully my wallet will be ready for Iron Man Mark 50.

Sideshow did get a batch in of this figure in early February. It must have been a pretty small batch. Lunar New Year hit and Sideshow seems to be waiting for more product to ship. This figure, Thanos, and BP are all in the same situation (small batch and then long delay).

Hmm, maybe HT is busy fixing the Chadwick sculpt and will finally deliver what they promised in the prototype photos and not that false advertisement shiz they pulled!

He's pretty awesome ! HEAPS of accessories, although the double ring effect doesn't fit the hands given or balance well at all. That's pretty poor. Costume and details are very impressive. Box art is amazing too.

Here are a couple of unedited shots straight from the camera. The headsculpt looks a bit soft, but that's just my poor camera settings I think.

I have actually stolen a standard crotch grabber post for the stand as he didn't need the large flight pole for this first pose. But that works as well.

Excuse the neck protection. Didn't want to take that off just yet, as he may need to move house soon.

Does the glow effect of the magic circle come from sunlight? Looks amazing.

The sculpt and the tailoring look awesome. Might have to grab this one soon. Still don't have a Doctor Strange yet...
