I just used the $25 "Thanks" code I received from Ordering Nebula & it was one order and done for that code. But hopefully I'll get another one tomorrow.

Weird. It let me order Ronin using the same code as I used with Nebula. Sideshow really messed up their website with the upgrade. Some people can get pop up discounts on almost anything yet I get them on nothing, but I can use a "Thanks" code multiple times and others only once.

Pre-ordered the deluxe. I was waffling back and forth on it because I always display my figures with their unmasked sculpts, but this one comes with a lot of accessories and I had a promo code, so I went with the deluxe.

Probably explained in the film, but in real life, when (some) people have traumatic experiences, the do what some people perceive as odd. Some get tattoos, some turn goth, some buy new outfits, etc. Perhaps it's his way to show he's no longer Hawkeye and is now Ronin. Or maybe it's something somple like the mask chafes his head

Wetwork in japan hunting yakuza. Has to blend in with the dirty criminal underworld. Explains the haircut and samurai skull tattoos. He needs to look the part while operating over there. More than likely with his family gone he simoly reverted back to what he knows best. Assassin work

Man, that look and sculpt just makes me want to upgrade my 'Original 6' from their AOU look to their Endgame look..

Its so amazing. Now we need to see how the back operates. I NEED to know if we can put the quiver on the Ronin look.. I'm assuming so as the sheath and the quiver seem to attach to the same strap. So many different looks, throwing stars, knives it's awesome. Used 100 dollars in reward points

Really like this one but I’ll probably wait a while. The deluxe version is very tempting, but seems really high for Hawkeye. Especially because as cool as the Ronin look is I’m not sure I’d display him that way. Have to see how much he has that look in the film.

Still worth the extra $30 for the extras. Could easily sell the deluxe parts you don’t want and make up for the price

Preordered regular Hawkeye, as his new look is kick ass and I may even get his haircut.

Guess my feelings are in the minority. This should have just been one standard edition with everything. Remember the Stormshadow figure that also had a masked and unmasked head sculpt and was just a normal release? Remember when the deluxe versions really seemed deluxe, like the Boba Fett that came with a awesome sarlaac base? Now it’s $270+ for what should have been a standard release figure. I still love my CW Hawkeye so I dunno. This one is a hard pill to swallow.

I do know I’ve basically stopped preordering or buying any figures without a coupon of some sort.

Alter ego bugs me that if you use PayPal or CC they charge you first for the full amount but give it back after a few days , but they still charge you first

Yeah, it is kind of weird. They enter a pending charge but never confirm it, so I don't think it actually clears against your credit limit. Still weird. But they do have a rewards program and free shipping on many pre-order items. BBTS doesn't. So, now that BBTS is charging sales tax, I'm spreading my orders around a bit.

I just preordered nebula from side show hoping to get a thanks discount that I could use on ronin but I haven’t got one. It sucks all the money I spend with them and I never get any discount codes. For the last two years no spooktacular codes no mailed codes with my figures. I only ever get the limited item discounts. Well I guess I’ll give it a day then it’s off to popculturezone for this guy l. I am kind of irritated that this figure comes as a deluxe version as I really felt the ronin figure it was one figure not two separate ones. I thought it was really lame when he started doing this and he have gone a little nuts with it.
