I see Hamill in certain angles videos but the irises are too big, which gives it an anime look. Curious about the sculpt with a repaint.

Was curious about the x-wing Luke too, but don’t remember ever seeing a single repaint on that one.

Swapped out the belt on the Endor poncho.

I have to disagree that looks nothing like him

Sent from the inside of a giant slug in outer space.....

As usual, i 100% agree with you. Not trying to be combative or insulting, but my god that is a horrid sculpt to my eyes. Looks like a bug eyed cartoon.

You guys funny [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

People were dogging on the TOD Indy too until repaints surfaced.

Oh well. People see things differently. Can't please em all. [emoji23][emoji106]

That TOD Indy had really quite decent apps (some of the best SSC had done to that point) but the head was about 15% undersized next to even a more recent HT head, which is saying something. Amazing that SSC delivered a head with near-HT apps but then something else goes awry. Though the hairpiece seam was another pretty major mess-up with that head.

People say it's undersized but personally I don't see a problem with it. Maybe it's because I'm not using it with the jacket? Screenshot_20190214-215007_Instagram.jpegScreenshot_20190214-215028_Instagram.jpegScreenshot_20190214-214508_Instagram.jpeg

Yeah it depends how its posed and photographed but all I mean is that side-by-side with most HT heads its small (even though HT heads have reduced a bit over the last five or so years.)

The major issue I had with it is that it really doesn't work with older SSC Indy figs (which you obviously want it to) - those were back in the SSC bobblehead era and the heads are literally 30% bigger than the little TOD Indy head - some almost look like 1/4 scale Premium Format heads next to it.

I just display the TOD head in certain ways that downplay the size issue - I have one on a German Indy outfit (because I actually like it best with the hairpiece not the hat) that's on a slightly smaller SS body and it works great, and it's to the front of the display so it looks bigger vs say SSC Henry or SSC TLC Indy (which has the biggest SSC head ever made) that are further back.

You find a slightly smaller scale muscle body and it can look perfect - I'm working up my sweaty TOD bash and I found a muscle body that isn't as big as most are. And yeah, no jacket helps.

Agreed. The heads are kinda terrible but I can also see what they were trying to do with them, so I wonder if it’s just the bad paint that’s holding them back.

Wow! Now that is quite the show stopper! Very cool!

Yeah, I have those pics saved and I'm using those as ref as coincidence would have it.:lol And I still give extra cred for the VHS box in the background - still the coolest retro move for a display.

Yeah I can see it being undersized when displayed with the older SS figures. I just thought the older SS heads were too large.
Sideshow made a Last Crusade Indy and I missed it?

And wow, Rzeznikk! Now that is quite the show stopper! Very cool!
Thanks man. All about that Fortune and Glory. [emoji16]

Haha that's awesome! And thanks. I have all these VHS from my childhood and I thought I had to display them some how! [emoji1665][emoji330][emoji1665]

Well, you got me thinking I'd hunt down some mint condition VHS tapes - at least of the OT and ROTLA and TOD.:slap

Looks good! Got mine coming in today from TA.

Just a screen-accuracy question, does he wear the vest and belt underneath? I guess it doesn't matter because the poncho's going to be covering it up...

Yeah, not sure, but with the figure it seems like it would end up being too bulky.
