Nah they will probably make a zillion of these, with future variants(probably improved) of the character too. It will be available for ages at retail.

I thought the same about Deadpool and Ant-Man, go check the current prices.

I don't know. That jacket alone might push it over the edge.

No doubt they will make more and better ones though. I think all of us expect a different version from Endgame already.

Not sure if we'll see it in the movie, but the leather jacket with helmeted sculpt seems like it would make for a pretty cool combo.

I’m still finding it hard to believe, with a new suit a new head sculpt, LED head sculpt, LED arms/hands on top of it being really 3 heads were getting that have to be painted??? I’m wondering if this won’t get pushed back?? Yet war machine mark 4 is 2020 the same as punisher and a few other releases. Oh well we should see what happens I guess

And I don’t think the $266 price point on the DLX was bad at all. Don’t get me wrong it’s expensive for a toy or doll

The combo doesn’t make sense to me. You have a suit good enough to fly around with in space, why do you need a leather jacket on top? Lol. Does look cool though I guess.

The implication is that the mediocre, inaccurate head sculpt is gonna be what you get. They won't tweak it or try to improve it.

Given HT's track record as of late it'll probably be even worse once the final production is released, but you sheeple will swallow your pride and proclaim you love it anyways.

Ugh, you sheeple disgust me.

You're right - it doesn't make any sense. But maybe her pilot friend (Maria Rambeau?) had it from back in the day, and when Carol returns to Earth as CM she gets it back from her during a poignant reunion scene and slips it on. Or not.

Hmmm. I don't know a damn thing about Captain Marvel, but this figure looks pretty cool, I think I'll pick her up.

To be honest if you are buying for actor realistic sculpts (which I do), then anything older than Age of Ultron wont fit your collection. AoU was the first Marvel movie line that I thought was overall pretty accurate (although Thor was a much more detailed sculpt than earlier efforts, it didn't really look Hemsworth either to be fair).. Star Wars is even more all over the place.

Anyway that is a quick release date. Not sure after thinking about it that I need the Deluxe. Jacket is cool, but it would stay in the box. Now to decide whether to wait for my Black Panther reward points to be added.. Still don't have a shipping notice yet.

Per Sideshow's website it's now estimated to arrive between Oct 2019 to Dec 2019.

Doesn't make sense to me either although I wonder if she wears the jacket over her suit in the movie.

I agree that the picture on the right looks better. But there can be many reasons why pictures can look different. For example try taking a picture of the face of a Hot Toys figure using your camera or camera phone. Now try taking two more pictures after moving forward and back. You'll probably notice that the features will look slightly different depending on where you are standing when taking the picture. If you have a DSLR camera, try changing the lens (e.g. from 35mm to 85mm) and take the picture from the same spot. You'll also notice a difference on how the face will look.

I'm not saying that Hot Toys made the perfect sculpt here. No sculpt is perfect. Even real people may not look exactly the same in different pictures like the examples I am showing below. But I still hope that Hot Toys will try to improve the sculpt as best as they can before release date. The details of the paint can also go a long way in making the figure look more realistic.

That being said, I think I'll order the deluxe. I like how her uniform and helmeted sculpts look. The energy effects look cool to me too.
