The make or break detail for me was the inclusion of the helmeted sculpt. I think this looks great.

Crazy how much slighting moving the eyes together changes the look. Much better likeness. I doubt HT will fix it but here’s hoping.

To me it looks like what the artist did was move her lips up slightly so they're closer to her nose. The eyes look like they're the same distance apart in both pics, but maybe my eyes are playing trick on me.

It's strange how many people in this thread are saying that. The headsculpt looks perfect to me, dead-on Brie Larson.

I agree with you, but everyone sees things differently. I remember people saying the Avengers Black Widow was a great sculpt, but I never saw it. I didn't think any of the BW sculpts looked like ScarJo until the Civil War version.

I predict the EX Version of this figure will be worth a ton once it sells out. I'd say higher than what Homecoming Spidey is now.

Nah they will probably make a zillion of these, with future variants(probably improved) of the character too. It will be available for ages at retail.

I thought the same about Deadpool and Ant-Man, go check the current prices.

I agree there's a likeness to Brie. Not perfect though. That side-by-side picture posted shows exactly why.

Nice looking figure and the likeness is pretty good too. I would like to have her represented in my collection so I'll probably just get the regular version (as it'll be cheaper plus I'm not too fussed about the deluxe exclusives). The prices of these things are getting a bit much for me unfortunately.

She looks great!!! I think the video J.C Hong posted made her look really good. Really loving everything except the sculpted hair, anyone know anyone who roots hair?

Not a figure/character I would collect personally, but the figure looks pretty good. With the helmeted head, lit up, on a flights stand, it'll look pretty sick on the shelves!

I'm so freaking excited. I loved Carol as a character before she was even Captain Marvel and can't wait to see her on the big screen. I think I'll probably display her in her charged up mohawk and helmet look, and use the jacket and other head sculpt to bash together a civilian version.

Unless the price is crazy, I'm in. I've avoided all other female figures because of the lack of sculpted hair but that's fixed here. FS doesn't really factor in for me since I get these to represent the character in general and not the movie character.

Once I have this and Wasp, I think I am done with my Marvel characters for a very long time.

Not in for the deluxe though. I made that mistake with Spider-Man Homecoming. I never use the extra accessories.

Ha yeah, I know better at this point than do declare that I'm done collecting something. Because there will always be another amazing looking figure around the corner that I will not be able to resist.

Jc Hong posted a video of him painting the sculpt, looks far better than in the official pictures. Really they they need to hire some new photographers over at Hot Toys

Yep, yep!

Honestly, I’m really sick of HT’s doing only 1 character for some movies. Obviously, I understand that there are economic reasons behind that choice. Also, I can understand that this “might” fit into an Endgame collection but with the shape of the base, it looks like they definitely want this to stand alone. Obviously without seeing the movie, I would want them to do a Ronin and possibly a young Fury & Coulson (I respect plain clothes characters) and possibly Mar-vell.

I hope they don't do a one & done here but I fear it might be, with Endgame so close to this & with her playing a huge part in that I expect we'll see another Endgame version before we see companion pieces from this movie
