Yeah, I think you guys are dreaming, personally.

This is a convenient excuse to reuse the WM MK3 molds. If they were launching a new line with the intention of doing new characters untied to the MCU, they wouldn't start with a Warmachine/Punisher Hybrid XD That's at the top of literally no one's list.

No, but the cheapest way to start going about it. This thing sells well, and then you go from there. This is a good reuse of MK3 too.

Isn't Iron Patriot in Future Fight literally based off of the Iron Man 3 Iron Patriot that we already got a figure of?

Yeah, so I don’t see it as A guarantee .

But this opens the door to it more then anything else has.


Also if they would be kind enough to announce a magneto, that would be swell

It really doesn't. That's an entirely new figure from head to toe. That's a pretty big leap from what amounts to mostly a repaint.

Well now that HT is doing Future Fight....

If they werent going to do those under the banner of the MCU, which has a huge fanbase, they're not suddenly going to do them because of Future Fight, which has a much smaller fanbase.

I agree with you. I honestly didn't even think they were making this, as I've posted before. But sometimes it's good to be wrong. And I said exactly what you did, that if they were starting a comic based line as some suggested, this is not the figure HT would've started with.

Part of being a collector is hoping/dreaming the products you want get made. Excitement is part of the thrill, no? Maybe they will make more characters from Future Fight, maybe they won't. But getting excited for something is what keeps one collecting and this hobby thriving.

True, but there has to be some realistic managing of expectations, too. Because people tend to get too attached to what they THINK is coming, and then they get legitimately UPSET when it doesn't come. They feel like they were cheated out of something they had convinced themselves was going to be given to them.

I semi-agree but the fact that they did an all new headsculpt on this says a whole lot to me. A much easier thing would've been to just not provide a headsculpt at all and it would've sold almost as well I bet.

I'm trying to compare pics but there appears to be a bunch of remolding of parts too unless I'm mistaken. They didn't just slap a skull on there and call it a day.

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't think there have been any War Machine repaints besides like Iron Patriot?

And almost no one plays it but there's a million Punisher fans out there. The HT Punisher sold well and look how crazy priced the Mezco Punishers sell for.

Im honestly surprised they're doing anything from Future Flight. The opens the door to a slew of characters to possibly make. This one is pretty bad azz.

I am hoping it does but maybe Hot Toys just did this because they could easily reuse a existing war machine body.
