I thought the two hobbits were very well done - I'm surprised they didn't sell better myself.

Another thread on this topic. This alone should tell sideshow that there are enough fans who want to finish this line through.

not really a transcript. all he said was 12" is on hold, PF's and Dios are doing well.

"On Hold" means "Not Dead, until those Hobbits and Gandalfs are out the Warehouse"....

The ONLY good thing about this news is , It means I'll be spending less money. Sorry SS, but Dio's and PF's are either too expensive or too big for some of us to collect. Until more 1/6 product is relaesed, this line is dead for me.

The ES on the Hobbits was way too high! All there attention is going to go to PF's now. So the 12" line will never continue! bummer!

We'll see. Maybe this time On Hold really means Oh Hold. If you look its not like they have a ton of back stock. The only open orders are for the hobbits. Everything else is sold out.

That really doesn't fit the MO for a failed line.

Maybe Sideshow should start a new line of "Not" zombies called "On Hold"??

Exactly.

I think they did the Bond Legacy line after 2 years of nothing. And that was really just a redess on the old figures.

So in a year or two we might see this Gandalf redone as Gandalf the White.

On Hold... where great lines go to die.

Hard to say if anyone thing was a line killer, figures in general were great. But a few flubs and less interest than other lines is probably the likely causes.

Guess its time to add LOTR to the image

I GOT to get SAMWISE now!
