Super Freak
Well, debated about posting this but figured why not. The kickstarter film Harbinger Down announced a fan art contest a while back and I entered. I typically just do quick sketches so it's been a while since I finished one out.
I started off with a basic layout using a non photo pencil. Obviously I have no photos of it. lol However here is the earliest pic I took.
Finished look of the upper half.
Layout of the creature bits.
Finished creature anatomy that include an expanded heart, rib cage teeth, puffer fish lungs, venom sack kidneys, intestine tentacles and a couple insect bits.
Then at the bottom the good ship Harbinger.
The final piece. Sans a blackened background.
