Netflix and Marvel's Punisher - Phase 2?

If it's anything like dirty laundry, it'll be one of my favorite all-time comic adaptations, probably close to the top

I didn't watch Daredevil, but I'd definitely get on board with Punisher.

Not surprising considering the critical acclaim DD is receiving. I am intrigued to see who is cast as Castle.

Punisher + Netflix = Perfect

Please get Ray Stevenson. He was perfect for Frank Castle but in a poor movie.

Ray's fifty now, there's no way they'll even consider him at any point.

He just did Volstagg 2 years ago, and I'd say that could be a bit (less than Castle) physically demanding.

Michael Shannon would be my preferred choice for Castle.

Well, when he went nuts on Boardwalk Empire, he went nuts.

I'd like someone new and unknown. Ray was an excellent Castle (and I quite enjoyed PWZ, even if it wasn't perfect) but as mentioned, too old for what will necessarily be an origin series. Hell no to Shannon. I really like him as an actor and his roles, but have no interest in seeing him as Punisher. He's done a bit too much of the psycho thing already (between Boardwalk Empire, Iceman and MoS). It would seem a bit clichéd right off the hop, IMO.
