IN MULTI-TERRITORY LICENSING DEAL WITH WARNER BROS. CONSUMER PRODUCTS
January 2013

Play Imaginative announces a premium lineup of quality collectible figures featuring characters from the DC Comics: The New 52 comic books. In 2013, the Super Alloy Collectible Figure product line will grow to include “New 52” Superman, Green Lantern, Batman, and The Flash. The figures will be produced in 1/6 scale, at approximately 12 inches in height.

Play Imaginative has been working closely with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to produce truly exceptional products that will excite fans and collectors. With additional accessories and various electronic functions within the figures, “The New 52” Super Alloy Collectible Figures will be among the top-of-the-range quality products in the action figure industry.

“We are very excited with our upcoming Super Alloy Collectible Figures for DC Comics. There is currently a void of die-cast metal alloy collectible figures, especially of western comic characters. This multi-territory licensing deal is a start in expanding the high-end action figure market, and providing consumers and retailers with more choices,” Mr. Jacky Teo, Business Development Director at Play Imaginative commented.
SUPER ALLOY COLLECTIBLE FIGURE

The Super Alloy Collectible Figure is a premium line of quality collector figures ranging from 1/12 to 1/4 scale, made of 45-90% die-cast metal alloy, and featuring up to 60 points of articulation.

I'm with Snake,on this. I want to see if this Batman is better than the Jim Lee version. If it looks good & I dont mind the price -it will be a must have. How soon for pics?

Not sure about the head sculpts, but overall it looks alright. Usually I don't really want to see joints on spandex covered characters, but it seems to look alright with the New 52 design.

Pretty excited about Flash :D

Guess this is the only way I will get a 1/6 Green Lantern to go with HT Batman and HT Superman.

Well if the Justice League film goes well then no doubt HT will release the whole team just like with the Avengers. I can't wait for Flash in 1/6 and hopefully a more comic style suit Batman - maybe similar to Arkham City or Arkham Origins

I bet people might pay more attention to this thing if they released more than 3 pics. For the first release in their flagship DC line, they aren't exactly paying much attention to it.

These were posted on the One Sixth Republic Facebook today. I really like them, but they're just too damn overpriced:

Those pics are so unflattering :lol They look like cheap little kids toys.

I really wanted Flash to look cool. Looks kinda weird there.

I think they accidentally switched out Plastic Man's torso and Batman's. Either that, or New 52 Bats switched out his underpants for Grandpa pants. I'm kind of underwhelmed by Flash, though. It's actually the best of the bunch, along with Superman, IMO, and it's a decent Flash figure, but, with the New 52 design, they could've done something really cool with all of the lighting bolts and stripes on his suit, and maybe even LED lighting, instead, he just looks like the Pre-New 52 Barry/Wally Flash.
