talking of decisions Steve...I'm pretty close to PO-ing the Wonder Woman PF...what do you think? Right decision? If I go through with her to complete my trinity display then I sacrifice Gladiator Hulk....

Personally I would go with the trinity. You own the SS classic Avenger line up your got to own the Trinity as well.

I'm pretty certain I'll be cancelling my G.Hulk now I know SS are working on a classic comic Hulk. The G.Hulk IMO is the most impressive Hulk statue I've yet to see saying all that.

I haven't PO'd Gladiator Hulk yet...it's in no way abt to sell out so I think I'm safe in waiting for inhand pics on that one. As for WW, well the EX is still available and like you said, it would be nice to complete my Marvel and DC lineups as you mentioned....

Sorry for the late reply buddy...been catching up with the posts that I hadnt replied to its funny you ask about the MK42 as I received some bad news yesterday from the guy who is repainting it. Basically, the statue was all painted in the new colour scheme and all that was left to do was to add a coat of clear acrylic varnish to help protect the paint...for some reason, this varnish has caused a reaction to the red colours and has caused various areas to blister so know the statue has to be stripped down again to allow for a another coat of red oh well, these things happen and so it looks like this wont be arriving until next week now!!! Gutted, as I was looking forward to placing him in my display case...really looking forward to videoing this display as it will be on a revolving turntable

Man, that's not good news regarding the IM repaint but I'm sure it'll come up good in the end. Always fustrating when your so close to the end and then something unexpectedly happens which pushes you back at square one again on a more positive note, just saw your update on chroming your Silver Surfer CMQ what a great idea! Can't wait to see that finished! Is it an expensive project? Is it being chromed in the UK?

Thanks Kris well, it was literally a case of patience and like you...good steady hands with the scalpel...

I had the patience...but not the good steady hands with the scalpel and gave myself a pretty deep cut!!! and passed out for 5 minutes!!

only kidding...but I did cut myself though OUCH! will post some pics later today but at last I can finally rest on one Sideshow bodge and continue on with the next...the Bats PF armpits!

I know right, what can you do its only pushed its arrival back a few days but I'm pretty busy at the mo with some custom work so I'm not in any mad rush. He actually text me last night to say that he has already re applied the red and looks just how it was so fingers crossed it looks okay. I've already seen the final repaint and the colours are literally spot on!!!! Better news and the same guy has agreed to build me a custom base for one of my PF's....wont say too much about it just yet but let me give you a clue and say that this PF certainly needs a custom base as the original was far from anything spectacular plus the base is made to fit 2 PF's!!! Any guesses??!!!! I'm certainly looking forward to updating my thread with the WIP pics anic

It's going to look so amazing all chromed up, can't wait to see it finished!

So at long last I got round to tackling the Arc Reactor issue on my Iron Man MKVI Legendary Scale Bust which Sideshow had totally bodged up by placing the Arc Reactor the wrong way round that's right, all 3000 of these busts suffered the same fate and almost all those who had PO'd this bust or already received it had either cancelled or returned their ones back for a full refund, which is totally understandable. As an Iron Man fan, I just couldn't do it...I guess I'd been waiting for so long to receive this piece and so wanted to at least have a go at fixing the darn thing! Well, I did it! So guys, I present to you the Sideshow Iron Man MKVI Legendary Scale Bust with the Arc Reactor the right way round

Thanks Stevo yea, Sideshow's QC issues have been on the decline over recent months...I've only been in this hobby for coming up to 2 years now and from what I've heard from other collectors, Sideshow have really been letting themselves down on a number of pieces. It is slightly worrying considering that the item prices and shipping costs seem to be on the rise each year...I really hope things pick up sooner rather than later

Hey buddy, thanks for the kind words and I think your hunch was always gonna be right seeing as though I was probably the only one who didn't return it back

Have to say though, If I was to say that all you have to is peel away at the glue behind the Arc Reactor until it loosens then you'd think it was pretty straight forward. No such thing...I've been hammering away at this Arc Reactor to get it loose since the day it arrived and it didn't budge once! Last night I used brute force and yanked it out!!! But I have to say, I was lucky I didn't snap the Arc Reactor in half!!! its the only way your gonna fix it and its just pot luck as to how tough the glue is on each piece and more to the point how much pressure the Arc reactor can take when its being pulled off...I think this mod was just down to pure luck in my opinion...

Thanks Marc...hope your doing well buddy as I was mentioning in my last post to Ichiro51...its not that its a hard fix to do but more pot luck that you don't get to do any damage to the rest of the bust while your doing or more importantly, damage to the Arc Reactor...so relieved I managed to pull it off...literally!

Congrats on the MK VI fix buddy. It's so annoying when companies like SS gets such simple things like that so wrong. Especially when they know 90% of there customers have OCD
