This boggles the mind, I understand hot toys don't go to deep into many lines but without elias this line is a fail. Why do we need figures like babydoll and amber, or tron, or four differant michael jacksons and that avatard jake sully, sorry if I offened anyone who collects that crap but this movie was a classic and elias was kinda a big deal in it.

Sgt Barnes is a bit of a sleeper figure, nothing wrong with it, one of HT's best but it just did not sell very well as far as I know, just now is it starting to go up in price.

I really want Elias to be next to barnes on the shelf, but I don't understand the mentality of collectors that claim making a figure they aren't interested in is a waste of time. Different stokes dude.

They are still some of the least expensive HT figs you can buy, I brought a Barnes not long ago for £90, that is very cheap for a HT figure in the UK.

Though I sold Taylor I've kept Barnes. That headsculpt is just too good, the character too memorable. I'm feeling that he may be worth having regardless if Elias gets made. I'm completist for Terminator but outside of that I'm looking to get only the most iconic and memorable characters across my favourite films and genres and Barnes would probably be foremost for me from the war movie genre.

Bummer that you sold Chris T bud But I agree Barnes is incredible, the headsculpt is perfect. You can just sense the rage and anger of the character by just looking in the eyes of the sculpt.

Bummer that you've sold him. BUt I hear ya. I'm redirecting my collecting as well. I'm cutting down on side character and variants. And as much as I love Batman and Terminator I can't be a completist. There is too much other stuff I love. My whole collection was Terminator and Batman but I love Indy, horror, and other heroes I don't own. My space is limited and so is money. I started by selling off Two Face and the DX01 for Indy and the 2.0. Next up is BR Joker and Cop Joker. As odd as it sounds I'm having a harder time selling Cop Joker than any of the others.

But yeah, these figures are great. The sculpt on Barnes is up there as one of HT's best.

You paid big bucks for glorifed barbies just kidding, but not really anyway its cool if thats what your into I'm not hating. I was just trying to make a point about them Leaving out main caractors from lines is all

I sold both too. Just seemed pointless to have them. I would get Elias and be happy with just him. Not my favorite movie, but if I was gonna get someone from it, it would be Elias. Oh well.

It was a tough decision to sell Taylor as obviously hes also a very good figure, stunning detail in all the accessories etc. And when I was writing him up in my FS thread I went picture-hunting and found this big photo series I had done where I had him looking ****ing brilliant if I do say so myself and that made it harder again.

And yet I couldn't help feeling with just him and Barnes (and no Elias) he seemed so odd and superfluous in my collection - probably something I wouldn't be on the lookout for if I wasn't in need of money as I am right now. In an ideal world I'd keep everything but I can't so one looks for reasons to sell certain things and thats why I sold him.

Two real-world war-movie figures in amongst all this sci-fi and fantasy and not even a complete set of the essential characters, just 2 out of 3. I'd rather keep just Barnes to represent possibly my favourite war movie and maybe he won't look so odd when I have John McClane to represent my favourite action movie and Maximus to represent my favourite swords and sandals movie, a good Indiana Jones etc etc. A grouping of singular figures representing different films/genres.

Yeah I still have the cop Joker, well all of DX01, and I think that'd be a tough one to bring myself to sell. The cop is one that I don't think any custom actually improved upon and thus never tarnished my view of the stock figure, it still looks top-notch IMO. A really cool looking figure right out of the film. Good luck with that

I've always been a huge Platoon fan. I got it for 195$ shipped. I hope to get it by next week. The headsculpt is aging gracefully, still looks awesome.

Only things that bother me is the hair strands looks a bit iffy up-close and the neck.

The forehead sculpted hair does bother me, it should of come with a 2nd bandanaless head.
