the MASK

hi,
just sharing a Mask figure I am working for at moment,
it is a free-lance job.

it is a 1/6 scaled figure with custom clothing.

I love the first movie.

Head shape seems off. I'm not sure why...

I would love to have a MASK custom. It was one of my favorite movies when I was little, and I still love it.

He mentioned custom clothing and all of AD's figs are completed figures when he sells them.

Works on the cloth has begun.

Got two trails back,

we picked a nice silky cloth for inner fabric (and expensive),
but the problem is that the fabric is too thin
and it is slightly transparent, causing the yellow of the
coat fabric being seem. To overcome that, we sew an additional
layer of inner fabric between the two, to block the colors permeate on another. And it is thin enough to not making the coat too thick.
However, it looks OK to me.

The head sculpt is like 80%,
i really like the smile.
Gota say the Mask is a bit in between FUNNY and EVIL.


It is also why I recken there is hard to find another actor to
play the Mask other than Carrey.

Really looking forward to seeing this one come together. The individual parts are stunning.

The coat looks great and you've really nailed that crazy grin he had! This looks like it'll be such a fun figure on the shelf.
