No one has to rationalize their purchase. You like it? Buy it. The extra parts are cool but most of them will stay packed away for most people once they decide on the combination they like best for their display. For me, I guess the luster has worn off on XM for me a bit now that Prime is offering 1/3 statues from pretty much the same end cost for people in the US.

They're both valid points imho. If I was in the US I'd probably give priority to other stuff too. About switch outs, once I have what I want to keep I'm thinking about putting them to good use. It wouldn't be too hard here to partially recast stuff like the sword blades and batarangs, make broken versions to stick somewhere in the base to give a post-fight scenario.

I think most of us that have some complaints live in the US or another country where we have go through hoops and hurdles to get an XM piece, or pay $200-$400 more than what the list price is if we buy from bbts or ebay, and that's before shipping costs.

Yes I see it, even if I don't consider it something to blame on the company, that's just something people need to accept when they try to buy stuff that's simply not meant for their area. It's not pleasant at all of course, but at a certain point people must understand that blaming the extra costs on the company is pointless.

Just think that there are areas that get price gouged even on stuff that can freely be sold in those areas: for example, here shops have 1:3 Prime1 pieces retailing at around 1400$. The XM pieces I'm about to receive are still under 1000$ (actually, under 900$, barring one or two bigger ones that I'll probably get next year if I get them at all). A 500$ Sideshow PF retails, Regular, at a little more than 600$ and an Exclusive arrives here at a little more than 700$.
Getting shafter for getting shafted, I guess the bright side is that prices are pretty much in line, meh

Oh, agree 100% with that. Yeah, my problem is never with the company that makes the product, especially when they do a great job.

Example for europe, no blame. The P1 Batman AK 1/3 in an german shop is €1199, means $1.335. I get my XM statues much cheaper. Yes i can order to SSC, but with custom / tax there is not a very big difference.

If I had a big display room, the 1/3 and 1/2 sized statues would be tempting... Only issue I have with Prime 1's stuff is the museum poses there going with on their bigger line of statues. I'll be curious to see what their 1/4 scale stuff will look like pose wise...

The bigger the piece the harder it is to do crazier dynamic poses. Takes up more space and people are already complaining about how much space larger scale pieces with museum poses take up.

Not really. The piece just can't be standing erect or have it's body spread out long. Look at some of 1/4 scale premium format line with dynamic poses: Thor PF, CA PF, Iron man Mark 42, Lara Croft: Guardians of the Light, Venom Comiquette

"Alright Ladies and Gents, it seems the verdict is out, we will stick to the usual PO plan this coming Thursday midnight SG time. Thanks to all who provided valuable feedback. In the meantime, these are the PO images that will go live on PO day."
