Hey man long time no see :)

I remember when you got that bust for £300 [emoji38]

Companies are really killing the hobbie with prices. But as long as people pay it they will keep doing it.
Play.com wern't around much longer after that. Maybe that's why everything ended up so cheap there eh lol.

It was a sad day when that site died. I even had a play.com credit card back in the day lol. I had about £15 saved up in rewards from it that I never did get to spend...

Coolio Predator

Too funny. :hi5:

Easy pass. The price is too high for an unknown Predator. No to mention that I think 30% of the price gone to the base alone. I supposed Fox/license holder only allowed XM to do artistic interpretation of the character or just testing the market? It could've been much better if it's the Jungle Hunter though.

Ok guys!

Sorry I haven't updated you on the quills situation for a little while. I've been a bit under the weather lately so I've mostly been offline. BUT, I got a sweet present from Seng in my inbox today so I had to share. BEHOLD the XM Predator! Also please take note of the following important information!

1. These pictures are production pictures straight from the factory! This is the actual production paintwork done by the factory with direction by the xm art team.
2. They are crappy phone photos, so please excuse the quality.
3. The dimensions of the piece have changed. It is now 92.5cm (36.4in) to the spear tip, 72cm (28.3in) long, and 42cm (16.5in) deep.
4. Total weight with all parts is roughly 22kg.

ENJOY! :)

This is 1/3 scale. The backwards tilt to the head makes it look smaller on camera. I've seen it in person and the head was in proportion.

Some pieces just don't photograph well. I'm going to skip it and that's tough for me I own just about anything large scale alien/predator

Fair enough. There's going to be so many large scale preds coming out now that Prime 1 is doing a 1/3 scale line and a 1/4 scale line, and XM is going to be making more preds after this anyway. So I think it will pay in the long run to make the tough choices. I'm planning to skip Prime 1 and Sideshows 1/4 scale lines and focus on 1/3 scale. I also saw the XM Pred in person and loved it, so that made my decision to get it much easier.

You guys still think the dreads look bad here? How would you like them adjusted? . . .

They look MUCH better now they have been placed properly.

I checked the quantity and that seems to be correct, SOOOOO I think it's throwing some folks because Narin suggests more motion with his sculpts . . . more dynamic.

(* or it's simply the Predator version of a hairspray commercial *)

Man i thought Star Wars fans were a tough crowd but you guys are almost as bad :lol
