Well i'd at least hope for the ability to display him without claws. From what you said about the comic wolvys claws falling out i dont know if i'd want removable ones, maybe just some relaxed open hands without claws would be cool.

In the SDCC pics they don't look removable but who knows. In those pics it does look like they're attached. Hopefully they learned their lesson from the comic Wolvie claws.

Re: Medicom X3 Wolverine

this may or may not be on topic, but ive been thinking about getting this one. does anyone know if they plan on making some of the other characters from X-3?? i really like this figure but i dont want to just randomly have wolverine and no other characters from the movie.

Re: Medicom X3 Wolverine

With Medi you never can tell what they're planning Hairless Wookie as they play their cards close to their chest until they unveil a figure. So far we've not heard anything about further X3 figures so I can't say I'm hopeful. I'm getting him to go with the other Marvel movie figures Medi are bound to release down the line.

I predict we'll have at least two Spider-Man 3 figures to pose with it this time next year and probably more comic book figures as well, hope this helps.

Re: Medicom X3 Wolverine

oh thats sucks. the one thing i liked about the movies was the way the costumes were uniform in design. they all had black leather with the different color accents. that and i was hoping to get some of the movie characters not just the comic book characters. realizing that the movie has been out for so long i doubt they will make any more either. wolverine was probably just a quick tie-in for some easy money.

Re: Medicom X3 Wolverine

I think for most movies Medicom only releases one figure rather than starting a whole line. Spider-Man 2 had a movie Spider-Man figure, Batman Begins had a Batman figure, X3 had a Wolverine figure. It's just the way Medi do business the RAH imprint itself is the line, the releases are simply individual figures.

Mind you there Star Wars line is developing nicely so they are capable of producing a full line too. There are also three 24 figures now, so that could be considered a line I suppose, even though they're all Jack Bauers.

I'd like to have seen more Medicom movie releases as well from the various Marvel films, in fact a Marvel movie line would've been incredible. Which other X-Men would you most have liked to see Medicom produced, I'd have dug a Beast and Magneto movie version myself. I would like more regular releases but in terms of quality I really don't think there's a Marvel action figure line to rival them at the moment.

Marvel Icons are very good value for what they are but not in the same league.

Re: Medicom X3 Wolverine

Got him tonight! Sorry no pics, no time. But he's on the movie-size body. When I first looked at him in the package I thought it was the larger comic book character body, but his shoulders are level with Rocketeers.

I'm pretty impressed with him - sure he's got a slightly anime face and a too big nose, but it is recognizable as Jackman. The tailoring on the costume is excellent and makes the TB 12" look like a bad kid's Halloween costume. The sleeves are slightly baggy at the wrist, but there are scale zippers there. Just an extra set of non-clawed hands as accessories along with the standard stand. I'd love to see Phoenix and other movie X-Men, but I doubt that will ever be.

Re: Medicom X3 Wolverine

If I can't get the girl of my dreams to go out with my this saturday I'm defintely going to purchase this.

Re: Medicom X3 Wolverine

so he's on the short bod. well then he'd probably be in scale for a comic Ultimate style Wolvie lol. i like him and would get him, but not if Medi isn't gonna make any other movie Xmen.

oh my, im excited as a 16 year old boy with a box of porn
