Yes bit of an old thread but a few years ago I rather of a collector who used some sort of oil to keep the dreads moist and prevent any cracking. Mine are not cracking but would like to prevent it happening in the future. Does anybody remember reading a thread about and do you remember what they used and it wasn't a silicon spray it was something you rubbed on?

Modge Podge? Just my guess though. Mine started to crack years ago, used to display it on a shelf but now put it in its own acrylic case. I use some kind of expensive spray for my leather seat to keep dreads moist and glossy. Works fine I think.
