I don't think 5 is enough for me, but...

Shutter Island
Hannibal (2001)
Dead Man
Pulp Fiction
Spirited Away

I would have to say

Aliens
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Terminator 2
Fight Club
The Social Network

The Quiet Man, The Searchers, Blade Runner, The Wild Bunch, The Shootist, Apocalypse Now, The Blues Brothers, Goodfellas, The Godfather 1+2, The whole Middle Earth film collection. Picking 5?... just not enough films to go around:)...A qood question would be what are your top 5 for each Genre like Sci Fi, Gangster, Western, War, Drama, Horror, Animated, etc, etc

Pulp Fiction
There Will Be Blood
The Shining
Taxi Driver
The Goonies

I'm sure I posted in a thread like this before, but. . .without thinking too too much about it:

Ghostbusters
Miller's Crossing
Back to the Future
A History of Violence
The Big Lebowski

Also hard for me to list only 5, because on a given day I've got 5 or 10 others that could make the list.

Way too hard for me to just let 5 movies. It all depends what kind of mood I’m in.

Monday - Raging Bull
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
The Matrix
12 Years A Slave
Casino

Tuesday - The Godfather 2
The Graduate
Heat
Back to the Future
White Men Can’t Jump

Wednesday - The Godfather
Killing Them Softly
The Dark Knight
The Matrix Reloaded/Revolutions (I look them as one film)
The Deer Hunter

Thursday - Boogie Nights
Saturday Night Fever
Jaws
Goodfellas
The Wild Bunch

Friday - The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Jurassic Park
Die Hard
District 9
The Terminator

Saturday - Se7en
Kill Bill Vol. 1
Scarface
Toy Story

Off the top of my head, right now.........

There Will Be Blood
Taxi Driver
Inglorious Basterds
Clockwork Orange
Se7en

There is such a theater about two miles away. Sounds like it'd be a hoot. Too many rugrats around my house to make it to the movie theater all that often, though. Probably won't burn a babysitter on a movie I could watch at home.

Still, glad to see some classics getting time on the big screen.

We got a sitter last night for Back to the Future, and I'm considering the same for Raiders. It's a pretty cool experience to see these great, classic movies on the big screen.

Star Wars - Empire Strikes Back
The Dark Knight
Star Wars - A New Hope
Batman Begins
Raiders of the Lost Ark

My five would be -

1 - Halloween, 1978
2 - Batman, 1989
3 - Robocop, 1987
4 - Predator, 1987

So many choices for Number 5 but I think that I would go for........

5 - Heat, 1995
