The harris sculpt is spot on, law not so much. Maybe if you squinted your eyes really hard or rubbed vaseline in them it would resemble him. But yeah, awesome figures .

Hot Toys V1 Joker

It is pretty special to me because it is my first Hot Toys purchase after awaiting one for two years!!!

I've done some 1/6th catching up and I'm really happy with these figs:


1) Utapau Clone Trooper. I think I'm hooked on clones now...





2) Sandtrooper (white pauldron). I now want the other two...





3) Rocketeer (v. 2.5). A truly elegant and beautiful figure. May not come with a ton of extras but it just catches one's immediate attention on display.

That's the 2.5? I thought mine was a 2.5 but he doesn't have those small shiny buttons on his jacket. On mine they're bigger and brown. Either way that one in that picture looks great. Congrats.

I received the Gentle Giant Stormtrooper statue, it is a nice statue but quite disappointing due to boring static poses and bent DLT-19 rifles.

In the last month, I've been on a slight Alien spending spree and got both NECA 7" figurines, plus the 18" (cheap at a toy fair). The latter is freaking massive. Had major problems getting his legs in the slots, but it's all done now, and he looks amazing. The pose works well 'cause I've set up pretty high on a shelf, so he's kinda crouched, staring down at everyone, ready to rip them apart.

Unfortunately he is. But it's not his fault but GG's, who instead of making it after the superb GG bust they considered to make a new sculpt. Bad choice... The GG bust is the best rendition of the Stormtrooper in any scale for now (excepting 1:1), why in the world didn't they use this as a base sculpt for the new statue?

I love that figure, for $40 he's the best around.
