There's actually a funny story behind that song. It was meant to be unpopular, used by a bunch of bad guy 'rasslers who were going up against Master P and good guy 'rasslers. But 'rasslin fans are mostly rednecks, so. . .it didn't work out that way

He's a New Orleans native, and I got into his unvarnished, aggressive style. I also like '80s rap like RUN-DMC, the Beastie Boys, Grandmaster Flash and the Sugarhill Gang.

Yeah, they were a big deal in the 90s. I wasn't a fan of them when I was younger, but I've grown to appreciate they music in recent years.
They came out with an album of cover songs a couple of years ago, but I think one of the members left awhile back due to health problems, so there's only three of them now.

I love that song.

I've lost most of my interest in that mid-'90s scene that Weezer was a part of, but that album is still pretty great across the board.
