I have been to see a serious amount of live gigs in my time and never have I seen anybody play a guitar like John Mayer. I can understand how his music may not appeal to all but the guy is undoubtedly one of the greatest to ever pick up a guitar!

Agreed 100%. I don't care for his personal life drama and all the twitter nonsense, all I care about is his music. To me, he is one of the last of true guitarists and musicians in music nowadays... have you seen the Where The Light Is blu-ray concert of his? It's one of the best things I've ever listened to and watched.
