I plan on repainting the Hasbro electronic r2 as R3-S6 and placing him next to Grievous very soon.

Is this not an R3 droid? The makes it look like another type. Cool though.

Yes, I went after the R3 design, but with a different eye. I was just playing around with my extras. Oh, and the eye is from a disposable camera.

Well not a bad idea on the camera lens.

I do wish I could get back into this. Ever since my original R4 head was lost in the mail, I just got disinterested and fell behind in my projects. One of these days. Heck I still need to finish R1.

Has anyone checked out the new droid pack at Target? This is RO-4LO was included with C3-P0 and BB-8. I was interested in seeing how it compared to the old R2-A6 droid I use to customize droids. What a disappointment! The size is off, and it isn't as detailed as the older droids. It has no 3rd leg, and the battery boxes are molded as one piece with the leg. I heard there is an R2-D2 out as well, but I haven't seen it yet.
